dave, i bought ur hal leonard dvd from when u were in rhcp. it is the funniest thing i have ever seen. the guys hair next to you is priceless. because of him i cant take it seriously. anyway, not to insult you at all because i think you're a phenominal musician, but in the dvd, it seemed as though you knew absolutely no music theory what so ever besides one hendrix chord that you said you based your song writing off of. is that still the case or did you just act like that as some satiricak joke?

Hey, I caught "VH1 Live" today. It was Alanis Morissette playing/singing an acoustic set of "Jagged Little Pill" celebrating its 10th anniversary. She sounded AWESOME! And she looked amazing! New hair, new clothes, make-up all done up. I was really impressed with the over-all performance and her new look.

Most feel it won`t work, like Zepplin without Plant, or Jane`s for that matter, without Perry.

i was wondering...have you ever considered doing collaborations with other artists? either just as a guitarist or featuring your vocals. that sort of thing. i would love to see you do a duet with scott weiland of velvet revolver. i always thought it would be so cool to hear you guys sing together. in my head, the blend of your voices sounds great. i even wrote a song with you guys in mind for the vocals. well, let me know what you think!

I'm glad $20,000 went to charity, but this was still a scam. The promotional page of the auction says, "Guys ages 15-20 are eligible for this chance of a lifetime." If that's considered part of the rules, then you should have been disqualified and the prize given to someone else. If it isn't, then TAG or whoever ran the auction is guily of false advertising. Either way, it was illegal.
