Good Morning

Davenavarropg527Good morning. Just waking up, coffee, Internet and an empty day. About to hit the gym, nap, Court TV and a little get together at my house tonight. Kind of a beautiful thing. I know that many are mixed about the verdict, but the drama of watching it come down was really exciting. We haven't had a news drama of this nature in a while. Personally, I don't really have an opinion as I wasn't in the courtroom and didn't really keep up on the evidence that was presented to the public. I'm not trying to open up a debate, I'm just saying it was a trip to watch. Once the verdict came in, I was kind of hoping he would moon walk out of the court house. That would have been rad. TPC has had the week off so I have been just kicking around, hitting some business meetings and playing a lot of poker. Nothing too creative. I found out that finally from West Coast Customs, almost 6 months later, my Grand National will be done on Monday. I'm pretty psyched about that. I will post a picture or two for sure. What else? Oh yeah. The dunk tank at the Pediatric Aids event. You know, I thought I was just like handing out tickets and prizes and all. When I arrived, they asked me where I'd like to change. What? You mean you want me to go in there? Damn! How can you say no, right? So, I talked my friend Melissa Rivers into joining me. We actually had a lot of fun. Plus, it was for a great cause. Helping kids with a deadly disease is way worth it. I will say, that if the "Implants For Strippers Who Can't Afford Them" charity asked me to do the same, I would have been way less accommodating.

Good Morning everyone.

Dave, love the wet pic. You are so cute. I was wondering, could the "average Joe" volunteer for that event. I have volunteered for AIDS organizations for years and I have always wanted to work that event. Can you tell us how to join up? (that is if outsiders can join) Thank you.

Have a nice father's day everyone. Take care much love to all. -CC

Good morning Mr N, hope you are doing gr8.

Cori, thank you.

Thought I'd share this joke with every1.

Guns n roses reform and tour the world, whilst on tour the bus crashes and Slash and Axl die instantly. Upon arriving in Hell Slash is summoned by the Devil. "I know you have died before your time, and I know how wild you can get, so don't even thinkl about giving me grief while your here" says the devil, Slash says"Look man, I'll do whatever it takes, just send me back, I can't die yet" after thinking a while the devil says "o.k here's the deal, I'll find the ugliest woman I can, and if you have sex with her for my amusement i'll send you back" Salsh agrees, so the devil brings in the most hideous woman he can find, Slash immediately says "Fuck that, I'll stay here with you"
So the two of them are walking down a long corridor, when Slash hears moans coming from behind a door, he opens the door and sees Axl having sex with Madchen Amick."What the fuck is the deal with this" Slash asks the devil....

"Oh that, well she wanted out of here as well" says the devil.

Hope you all have a good day!

Be safe, Be happy

late.

"Implants For Strippers Who Can't Afford Them" charity........

It's a REALLY bad stripper that can't afford to buy her own implants. If they can't afford their own, they need to look for another line of work.

That said, I am glad the Pediatric Aids carnival went well. I've seen a few of those dunk tanks...Just how dirty and murky was that water Dave?

great quote from "Whores"

“Stephen’s a vegetarian pothead and Chad’s a beer-drinking steak eater. Chad is more John Bonham-style smashing with a more simple setup, Stephen has all these little drums, bells and chimes and zingers and ziggers and African testicle-skin pebbly things. I have to think a little more with Steve.

Hey Everyone!

Dave I saw you on Jimmy Kimmel talking to Uncle Frank at the Batman Begins premiere. I kind of smiled to myself knowing what ended up happening. You looked good, I like the haircut.

A quick question: Have you ever been a guest on The Daily Show? Would you if they asked you?

Oh and one more thing to the posters here: on amiannoying.com there's a bunch of erroneous info about Dave. Besides the fact that we all need to get on there and vote for "not annoying," maybe if enough of us e-mail the site they'll change the mistakes. Just a suggestion.

Dave, I haven't commented here before. I'm a great fan of your work with Jane's Addiction and the Chili Peppers, and I speak as a musician and a long-time connoisseur of rock guitar. You are very, very good. I also think it's interesting that you have a blog. Nonetheless, I see it as my moral duty to ask the tough questions and to level the criticisms that other readers are shying away from.

1. I've always wondered why your hair, particularly your facial hair, is cut so perfectly. Frankly, it offends me.

2. What's with the girl situation? I thought Barbie was blonde. How many of them do you have, anyway? Don't they mind this musical chairs routine?

3. Have you completely forgotten that you have enough money not to live in L.A.?

Hope you are well all the same, and good luck with any music you might be making or planning to make in the future. Remember, get the fuck out of L.A. as quickly as possible. Your soul is in danger.

Regards,
Oscar

Dave, I wanted to say thanks to you and Shannon (and everyone else) for helping get this poker craze started. I played in my first real (not just friends and family) poker event last night. And out of 32 people, not only did i make it to the final table, but i actually won. So this first victory is dedicated to you and everyone at Celebrity Poker for making this the phenomenon that it is.

Hey Dave,
As a guitar player I've been influenced by your work since 88. I could never figure out the whole solo for three days, even though then she did was my fave janes song. I was wondering what happened to the black PRS guitar you had when you made that guitar instructional video. I noticed that it was a CE 24 (kinda cool that you had one and now you got the girl to match) instead of the customs you play now.
