Memorial 10
1. Would Jane's have been the groundbreaking act that it was without the drugs?
It's hard to say, there were a lot of factors going on. I would attribute the success of the band to the time, our heads, where music was, our age and our personal circumstances. When we got going, none of us were really that into the whole drug counter culture. Honestly, we wrote most of our catalogue way back when. Were drugs a factor? I'm certain they were, but more in the death of things than in the birthing of things. We were dabblers, drinkers and stoners, but when we embraced the needle, that's when things really fell apart. Keep in mind that this is my experience alone, the other guys may have their own recollections that may or may not differ.
2. Do you believe if a couple has a child and don't get along all the time, they should split? Or stay together for the child's sake.
Honestly, not having a child, I am really unable to give you an educated answer. When my parents split, it was hard for sure, but they were both very much in my life and they remained friends in order to not burden me with their shit. That definitely made things much easier.
3. I was reading some linear notes online about kettle whistle and it says that you play guitars and bongos!
I think I recall something about that, but I honestly don't know for sure. I might have if Perk wasn't around that night, but I can't say definitively.
4. Dave who is this 'teenage' son Carmen talks about it in out takes?
Our live in assistant, Richard.
5. Recently there's been a lot of hatred as people are always discouraging me from pursuing my music.
Well, put it this way, what if someone said to Picasso, "What the hell is that supposed to be?" Do your art man, enjoy the process. Ultimately, it is your heart on the line and your ideas. I say, just do what makes you happy and feel fulfilled.
6. Understand that I do think you are the dog's but do you look back on some of the things you've said in the past and think, man I was talking bollocks there!
Do I? I don't know. Not really. I'm sure you can pull a million things that I have said, done or thought and I would now say, "Wow, what the hell was I thinking?" But then again, I don't know anybody that isn't true for. Just part of life, growing and evolving. I think some stuff would make me laugh more than anything. Par for the course of life, so to speak...
7. Can you tell me if the canceled show of Jane´s in Madrid in the European tour 03, was because of problems in the band?
I believe that was canceled due to an illness in the band at the time. Nothing big. Sorry about that, mate.
8. Hey, was it me or were u in a really bad mood in "punk'd"?
Yeah, I had a cold and was on cold medicine that day. SO not into "chatting" with the driver!
9. Who's your favorite musician of all time?
Hard to say... But lately it has been Trent Reznor or Jimmy Page.
10. How many weeks will Rock Star run?
I believe 13 weeks, 3 episodes a week, for a total of 39 episodes.

Sunday 1
TDDUP Episode 3 and out takes are now available on 6767 TV. Also, last night's CFR will be loaded within the week.
1. Dave, it seems (correct me if I am wrong) that throughout most (if not all) of your musical career you've had this problem with addiction. In that time you've managed to release a no. of albums (Some of which were even solo) as well as countless collaborations of sorts and my question to you is just how much did the drugs/addiction get into the way of your career and I guess life in general? It doesn't "seem" as though it put a damper (though I'm not saying that it did not) too much on your music, musical endeavors throughout the years and countless performances as well. The reason for my asking is having battled an addiction (and still to this very day to a degree) with narcotic painkillers, I can relate although it never quite seemed to stop or hamper my life in any way until more recently. I still played music, worked out, etc., as always, but until more recently I've noticed things starting to slowly spiral out of control. I guess I'm trying to ask how you battled such a severe (unless it wasn't "that" severe ... was it?) addiction and managed to cut all the albums, play all the shows, collaborate with all the other musicians and basically live you life as though everything is fine and dandy? I'm finding it more and more a problem to function "normally" as each day passes and I honestly do not know why "all of the sudden" it's now this way? I wish I knew how you did it?
This is a very interesting question. And as much as I see your point, I have to say a few things. My addiction to drugs played an enormous role in the demise of some of the projects I was involved in. I certainly contributed to the destruction of some really great things. Sure, some work got done, but the continuous struggle with day to day things, relationships and work load made for a very unhappy way to live out my dreams. I had a complete lack of spiritual connection, health problems and negativity within my personal life as well as my professional projects. I can see how from the outside looking in, things might have looked like they were all right. Work did get done, tours and lots of music, but the truth is that I can only imagine how much more would have gotten done without the drugs, as well as how much more I could have enjoyed it all. In addition, my romantic and family relationships suffered dramatically as well. Several overdoses, canceled shows and emotional wreckage. Hospitals, lost trust and faith... General indifference and insanity. Things were not just fine and dandy. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to work with some really great and inspiring people. If it wasn't for them, I would not have been able to carry on alone. So now, years away from that life I really embrace the opportunities put in front of me. How did I do it? I allowed others to help me. Got off the drugs and began to embrace a spiritual way of life. There is obviously no one way to do this so I chose what worked best for me. I have never in my life been happier.

Friday...
Catch TDDUP Episode # 2 on 6767 TV today.
1. I just saw that Carmen got a tattoo on her wrist for your wedding date. How did she do? Brave? Did you two come up with the idea together?
She and I went together and got the same thing for an Anniversary present to each other. I got the date on my chest, she went with the wrist. She was not only brave but now she is somewhat addicted. Of course she now wants more.
2. Dave, why don't you invest in a home gym for convenience? Or would you miss the social interaction at the gym?
I know I would never use a home gym. Plus, I never really go out much, so in a way, it is like my only semi-social activity that isn't work related.
3. Will you be involved in choosing the new singer for INXS or just in the capacity of hosting the show.
No, that choice is up to the band. Brooke is more of the host, and I am gonna be working with the kids. More like Sugar Ray on Contender or George and Caroline on the Apprentice.
4. Dave, do you like cock?
Well, I really like mine.
5. Is it true that Chaney is touring this summer with Rob Zombie and Ozzfest?
No but I believe he is working on the new album with Rob.
6. I read you will appearing again on America's Most Wanted. Is that true, and if so do you know what date it will air?
I don't know, I am sure it's a repeat. I must say that the show did me and my family a great service by finding my mother's killer. Thanks John Walsh!
7. Billy Corgan said in one of his Blogs you used to hang out at the house the Pumpkins were renting in Beverly Hills.....Did you get on the mushrooms with him? Can you enlighten more about the parties up there?
Well, it's certainly possible, but I can't remember.
8. What ever became of the art show you and Neil Strauss had planned for? I remember it had something to do with photos that never made it into DTTAH and various other pieces.
Actually, DTTAH just went into paperback, so we were thinking of having the art show when it comes out in the fall.
9. When TPC heads back in the studio, will it be to continue work on already written material, or will there be new songs tried out during this time period?
We have a few new tunes we want to get recorded, plus we need to finish up some of the older ones as well.
10. Will there be a new CFR tomorrow?
There most certainly will.

Tuesday - Updated
1. What made you decide to host RockStar: INXS? That seems like an "odd" combination, so I'm curious as to what drew you in & interested you in partaking...?
A lot of reasons. First and foremost, it seems like a lot of fun. I am also a huge fan of Mark Burnett's shows, such as Contender and The Apprentice. I jumped at the chance to work with him. This one is right up my alley. Really talented and undiscovered vocalists doing great rock songs and living together while auditioning for the same spot. It's gonna be a fun summer for sure. Plus, it certainly doesn't suck to work with Brooke Burke everyday!
2. How is it now playing live with a singer who plays guitar
It's amazing. I get to add different textures to a live performance that I otherwise wouldn't be able to do as I would have to hold down the power chords. This is evident in such tracks as Loophole, Bloody Mary and Teahouse.
3. Dave would consider swapping one of my testicles (the left one) for one of your nice martins?
I don't know. I'd have to check out your testicle first to see if it was a fair trade.
4. What's next Dave? After writing stuff down, what did you do next?
I pray and live honestly and just try to do what I think God would have me do... Being of service to others. (Of course, nobody is perfect!)
5. Just wondering if there is anything that you do on a daily basis that helps you to continue to kick the habit?
I try to hit the gym at least 5-6 times a week.
6. Are you interested in any other types of bod' mod'? Like branding, suspension... etc?
I have some scarification that was done years ago. Can't say I am really into it, nor would I recommend it. It was just, "one of those nights". You know...
7. I really liked the idea for the book, how did you come up with it?
It started with the booth idea, just having everyone take a picture. Then, Manson introduced me to the guy who wrote his book, Neil Strauss. He suggested we do a book together. (This was when Manson's book had just come out.) I decided to merge the two ideas and make the book more "reality" based in the sense that it would only take place over the course of a year. Neil and I didn't even know what the book would be about or look like until it was completed. Lucky for me we got a happy ending.
8. Waxing or shaving? If shaving, what do you to keep smooth without irritation?
Well, the parts of my face I DO keep clear of hair, I shave. In fact, I don't wax anything. I trim with scissors or an electric buzzer type of appliance. I kind of can't deal with the whole waxing thing. Now THAT is a body modification I am way too much of a pussy to endure!
9. We all know how busy you will be with your new show, will TPC still be playing local gigs (when you're free)?
Absolutely! We are still writing and have some more time to put back in the studio so a summer tour wasn't an option anyway. We will still be playing around as my shooting schedule is only three times a week. I'm still hoping for some coastal gigs, east and west, Vegas and so forth.
10. I read that the whole book/album project was actually supposed to be your suicide note of sorts....your final good-bye or whatever you want to call it. And I know there was a video that goes along with it. Do you still have the video? And is it something you would ever upload to 6767TV?
You know what? If I can find it, I might be inclined to put up some clips as some of it was really interesting. However, not all of it would be appropriate for mass public viewing. I'll look around for it.
Here's some info about Rockstar: INXS
According to MTV.com, former JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist Dave Navarro has signed on to co-host — along with Brooke Burke — the upcoming reality series that centers on the surviving members of INXS hunting for a singer to replace the late Michael Hutchence. "Rock Star: INXS" will be both a performance competition and a relationship-style unscripted drama, since the 15 contestants will be housed together in a home in California's Hollywood Hills. The show will debut with a one-hour premiere on July 11 at 9 p.m., and will then air regularly on Mondays at 9:30 p.m., Tuesdays at 10 p.m., and Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on CBS, with the Monday episodes focusing on the performers' relationships, Tuesday episodes featuring the performances and Wednesday episodes revealing the weekly results.

Sunday
Two new LE songs posted! In a couple of hours, last night's CFR should be up. Also, episode 2 of TDDUP will be added to the 6767TV next Sunday.
1. Would you be interested in getting on one, or even creating the basis for a tune to be layered by LE?
Totally! I just don't have home recording equipment here. I'll have to roll over to Billy's one day and do it with him.
2. Dave...perhaps you can comment on whether the "drug talk" on your blog makes you uncomfortable.
Not at all. I have no problem with it. However, multiple and lengthy back and forth conversations of any nature should be taken to the community, but this is your place too, so feel free to discuss whatever you want. Of course I don't mean responses and comments to one another, only the long drawn out full on conversations. I find that I usually skip through a lot of it.
3. Is this MAP event going to make it onto 6767TV?
No, there is a serious anonymity within the organization, so video and audio recording would have been inappropriate. I only gave up names of family and friends who chose to have their pictures taken outside.
4. Do you have anyone, with the exception of your wife, that helps you to keep it real, that you trust to tell you if you have food on your teeth, or if you are blowing it?
Hell yes. Pretty much all of my friends and family are very honest with me as I am with them.
5. Speech, speech! Dude, anyway you can post the 'scribe of your speech from MAP here or on the board in the "More Info on the honor..." thread? I'd really like to hear/see it.
I just had notes and pretty much "winged it".

M.A.P.
This has been a long week for me. I am working on a project that I can't disclose until Monday, we had our Dragonfly show, The M.A.P. awards. I am happy to finally have a day off. Last night was just amazing. My father and stepmother came, along with my wife, Courtney, the band, Larissa, Neil Strauss and Lisa Leverage, Jerry Cantrell, Flea and Martyn. Great performances by Year Long Disaster, Bob Forrest with his son Elija and Flea, Jerry Cantrell and The Panic Channel. We did Teahouse, Left To Lose and closed with Dazed. The award moment was really emotional for me. I wept with gratitude and amazement for all the work the M.A.P. people have done and for all the people who showed up for me. It was crazy, to be up there crying and then go straight into full on rock! What an emotional rollercoaster.
Today is an all new CFR. I'll be in with Billy and we will talk about the week. The Dragonfly, The Camp Freddy show at E3, which I had to miss, and the awards ceremony.

Dragonfly
Copyright 2005 Debbie VanStory
Less than 3 hours away is another Panic show at the Dragonfly. I'm all jacked up on coffee so I thought I'd just post and say hello. Tonight, our set should look something like this:
Teahouse of the Spirits
Awake
Loophole
Go On
Blue Bruises
Said You'd Be
Left To Lose
Bloody Mary
She Won't Last
I'm glad the 6767 TV is now working and that you enjoy it. Right now we don't have much else to put up but when we do it'll be up there for sure. Have a great evening and you can make the show, we'll see you there. If not, we'll see you here.

Sunday 10/Online Flush
1. What's worse, being in a band with someone who doesn't show up or someone that shows up but doesn't stop complaining?
I think both scenarios are equally disastrous.
2. Which do you prefer, the newer releases of Star Wars (episode1,2 and now 3) or do you prefer the older ones (episodes 4,5,6)?
Well, I was so young when the originals came out that the new ones can't possibly capture the magic for me in the same way.
3. Why didn't you put "Easy Girl" on the "Trust No One" Album?
It was just one too many.
4. true or false: You once said that you weren't gay...but you hadn't kissed Johnny Depp yet.
There are some people that are so pretty, it just doesn't matter what sex they are.
5. Would you ever jam with a fan, Dave?
I have many times and would do it again if the opportunity presented itself.
6. Do you regret not joining GnR?
No, my life in the RHCP was really great for me and I would have missed that. I worked with Axl on a song for a movie years ago, I'm in Camp Freddy with Matt Sorum and have jammed with Slash, Izzy and Duff many times. Kind of like the best of both worlds.
7. When we host our regular poker games...my house ends up looking like a tornado went through it. You?
Not really, we have a very sane game.
8. Where does all this animosity directed at you come from?
I really don't know. It started when I joined the Chili Peppers and just kind of took on a life of it's own. I'm sure it would really bother me and hurt me deeply if I gave a fuck!
9. Is it true Chaney is, was, or will be working with Rob Zombie and Wes Borland on some music?
I don't know if he is but I know that he has. He is always off playing with somebody. He does a lot of session work with just about everybody.
10. Dave~Is it cool, fashionable, trendy in LA, or the surrounding areas to have a mental illness, or act as if you have one?
Not that I'm aware of, but then again, all of my friends and I are mentally ill!
Time for Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Deadwood. Goodnight.
Last Saturday's CFR loaded now!

CFR Tomorrow
I'm gonna miss tomorrow's CFR due to a scheduling conflict. Billy and Donovan will be hosting. The tourney was great! Isaacs came in second and I was out much earlier, but we all had a killer time. The big winner was our friend, Greg Simon.
1. Did you ever get you car back from WCC?
Not yet. Should be in by next week. They do take their sweet time over there, but they do amazing work.
2. Is it ture that you wanted to stand on a stool for the Strays cover because you are a sawed off midget?
It's not a stool it's an apple crate! (No, it is not ture. It's not even true.)
3. Is the live video footage from the "Soul Kiss" video footage from that (Seattle at the Paramount) show?
I think it is.
4. Who's in charge of The Panic Channel page on Myspace? Is that you or just someone using your info?
We really don't know, but we thank it's creator.
5. What happened to Stephen Perkins' official web site?
He has changed the domain name. When the new one is up, I will link it here.

Thanx
Thanx to Justin for the comic.
Just killing a half hour before rehearsal. Coffee. We have our poker tourney tonight. Nine players, all seasoned and action oriented.
1. Will we have to subscribe to this service or will be offered to us for free?
Most of it will be free, unless I decide to throw some more "mature" files up there. If so, there may be a small fee, just to keep it a little more difficult for minors to access. For the time being, however, I have no such plan. Edited bachelor/bachelorette party out takes could one day fall into this category.
2. Is it true you still check the xiola board and complain to Sonny when people bitch about you?
Actually I have never looked at the board. I love his site and all it's content, but the board, I stay clear of.
3. Did you contribute anything new to 'Whores' or was it all taken from prior interviews over the years?
The only contribution I made was when the writer did the Spin article. So, whatever I said then, is probably what ended up in the book. I was given a copy and it looks really cool. Just might crack it open.
4. Who's your favorite hair metal band?
Van Halen, dude!
5. When are you going to open the panic store, what are you waiting for?
Oh... Something to sell, I guess would be first... We are currently working out our merch situation. Thanx for the interest. I will for sure let you know when it opens.
6. I also was wondering why when in the meeting room at Lolla in 2003 the only reason you came into the meeting room was to bitch for like 20 minutes about how there wasn't a diet coke in your dressing room. you sure looked like a whiney bitch standing there in your sweat pants and white t-shirt.
White? Now that's just crazy!

6767TV Update
Robert and I are currently looking into uploading all of our content to a streaming server for quality, speed and multiple users. I think up to 4500, which is shooting high, but 30 should work just fine. Once we get that settled, I will be able to get to answers from time to time in full living and moving color. Also, I think we might even be able to do live streaming feeds. This could be anything from an impromptu acoustic performance to a random late night babble about nothing. It's gonna take a few days to get it all straight, but once we are up and running, it'll be a lot of fun. We are also doing the same thing over at TPC. In the meantime, have a beautiful day and we will see you soon.

Sunday 10
Last Saturday's CFR loaded now!
1. If you woke up laying between Scott Weiland and Anthony Kiedis, who would you kick out of bed?
Three X-I.V. drug users? I'd probably try to slide my own way out.
2. I read somewhere that Cream is one of your major influences. Is that true?
Very true. I did a version of Tales of Brave Ulysses with Chad for Trust No One, but it never made the final cut. Clapton's playing back then was my favorite of all his work.
3. Dave, a lot of singers write vague, metaphorical lyrics, instead of to bearing their soul and quite often feeling very vulnerable on stage. Where do you feel Perry stands on this?
I think he bears his soul in literal ways and metaphorically, but I have never seen him act vulnerable as a result. He pretty much stands strong behind what he writes. That's one of the things that makes him so great.
4. Any plans to be on the celebrity poker or blackjack games again?
No, not really. I'm kind of over that whole thing right now. At least for television. Who knows, I'm sure if I get asked I won't be able to help myself. I can always play for a cause like Cure Autism Now or Pediatric Aids. But no plans to speak of at this time.
5. Were you ever a comic book collector?
I was heavily into it back in the day, but my lifestyle at the time forced me to sell them all. I had quite the collection. Still have the first Love & Rockets that my friend Adam gave me to replace the one I sold. It was and is my favorite one.
6. Do you know Tom Arnold? (the master of ceremonies) If so what's he like?
Yes, I do. He is very cool, down to earth and fuckin' funny as hell.
7. Hey Dave, I'm just getting into NIN, I have With Teeth, but I don't know which one to get next. Any suggestions?
I would say go back to the old school style and get Pretty Hate Machine, but blondimofo has a point about Downward Spiral. You really can't go wrong with either.
8. I'm surprised that a guy with your dough plays hold 'em for only a $100 buy-in. Is that due to the other players and their financial status or just your comfort level of gambling?
Both. We have a range of financial levels in the game. $100.00 is enough to feel it if you lose, affordable and way worth it when you win, so people still play fairly tight and serious. Less chasing. It also allows the game to remain friendly. Plus, I'm simply not good enough to lay more than that down.
9. Hey Dave...I was flicking thru an old magazine before an I saw a picture of u backstage at a RHCP gig stood next to a tall fat guy with balding long ginger hair with a mustache......he was wearing a black T-shirt saying "yes sir Mr. Navarro" who was he?
That was Dave Lee, my old friend and guitar tech. He is now John Frusciante's tech. Great tech, sweet guy.
10. I saw the beautiful Miss Carmen on Ellen...and she mentioned something about buying the wrong house. What's the story with that? Did you flip your gourd when told you that you guys didn't buy the right one?
Hahaha. Yeah she wasn't sure which house we bought, but I knew we had the right one. Somehow she has never purchased the wrong shoes. You know... priorities.

All New CFR
So last night we had our first home tournament. Nine Players. Cantrell, Johnny, Steve, Shannon, Heather, Rene (Johnny's friend), Greg (Carmen's assistant), Sean (Suicide Girls creator) and me (me). We all bought in for $100.00 and the winner took $600.00 and second place took $300.00. Sean came in second... I won! But more importantly, we had a great time. Carmen and Riss watched some crazy old Madonna footage from when she did the sex book. Horderves. The works. A great evening. My friend Greg was right when he said, "Well, it's good that Dave won, that way, we know we will have at least one more game here."
Tonight is the All New CFR. I like saying that. It's like "An All New CSI". I always wondered why it's an all new one instead of just a new one. Like, would there ever be an old one with some new stuff in it? A half new one? Billy says my surprise fell through but he will reveal what it was on air. Hey man, at least he tried. He's a good chap. After the show we are going to celebrate our friend and Camp Freddy manager, Brent Bolthouse's engagement. He is responsible for throwing our (Carmen and I) amazing bachelor/bachelorette party in Vegas. Love is in the air tonight.
1. Dave, have you always been a poker fanatic, or is this something you picked up recently?
I started playing about 12 years ago, but I never really became a full blown fanatic. I go through periods where I'm really into it, then I don't play for months at a time.
2. Do you still hang out with Neil Strauss? During the Don't Try This At Home year you seem to have developed a rather strong and friendly relationship, just curious to know if you two still keep in touch.
Yes, I do. He is still one of my closest friends.

Friday
Just a quick little check in. Tomorrow is an all new CFR on Indie. Billy says he has a special surprise for me, but I have no idea what it could be. The past two weeks have been rebroadcasts as we have had CF business on those days. We are back in full force tomorrow. 6pm - 8pm. Everyone have With Teeth? Just amazing. It is certainly a must own. TPC has been doing a lot of writing this week. We are rehearsing and getting our chops back together for the shows on the 17th and the 20th. I am really looking forward to the M.A.P. show as we will be sharing the bill with Jerry Cantrell's new band. I love watching that guy play music. He just rules. I went to a poker game at his house the other night. Left about even. Tonight I am having a home tournament - $100.00 buy in, winner take all. Should be fun. It's about time I start up a weekly game at the house. 8 or 9 players, could make for a very happy winner. Players will include Johnny, my cousin and long time writing partner, Steve I, Shannon Elizabeth, her friend Heather, who appeared on the E! Show with us, and a few others I have yet to meet.
1. I saw Garbage in concert last Thursday... is Eric Avery playing bass on tour for them???
Yes, he is!
2. Dave, I was wondering, are you looking forward to the new Star Wars movie? Will you be waiting in line for it?
I am already in line. I am typing this from a wireless device.
3. I also wonder what your thoughts are about shows like American Idol. Do you feel that takes away from the bands out there on tour trying to plug a new album the old fashioned way?
I really don't. For me, that show is pure entertainment value, not art or creativity. I watch the show but I have never run out and purchased an Idol record. Well... except for Clay's. And Kelly's, BUT THAT'S IT. I swear.
4. As a listener, it seems the radio stations cater to the "Idols" more so than the artists who are doing it the hard way.
I hear that. That is why we work at Indie and try to do our part in playing what moves us as listeners and artists.
5. What was your favorite JA/RHCP song to play live?
Then She Did/Suck My Kiss.

Monday 5
1. Did you speak to any members of the band (NIN)? Did Twiggy join Camp Freddy for a song at all?
Yeah, I hung with Trent at Coldplay for a minute and Twiggy after the CF show. He wasn't able to play cause it was the same night as his NIN gig. I have to reiterate just how phenomenal they were. My all time favorite band.
2. So, was there REAL money involved? Or was it just for bragging rights?
Yeah, it was real this time. I was playing for the Carmen Electra Shoe Fund.
3. Can you give us a hint tomorrow of what you talked about at MusExpo? And why oh WHY was Larry King the moderator?
Well, Larry is just a great moderator. As for what we discussed, it was about the state of things in the industry right now and how to change them and get new artists and bands out there. I was the "artist" point of view. I was also representing Indie 103.1 to a degree. We talked about radio, programming, nurturing new music, touring and record companies. My main point is that we don't have a lack of talent out there, but a lack of faith within the industry. Mainly, people looking out for their jobs rather than looking for new and exciting music.
4. Can you name-drop any of the 50 losers...errr...I mean players....that had their booties kicked DN-style?
Well, there were the usual cast of celebrity players, Cantrell, Shannon Elizabeth, Bijou Phillips, The Masterson boys and a bunch of other actors that I recognized but don't personally know. What made this so much fun was that there were pros playing among us. Chip Jett, Antonio Esfandiari, David Williams, Jennifer Harman... The final heads up game was me against Evelyn Ng, who is a really well known and respected player. She was scary good (and very cool). In the final hand she went all in. I called with pocket kings. She had queen/jack. The funny thing is that the whole game I was late for sound check so I was a lot more reckless than I would have been had I the time. I think that worked to my advantage.
5. What's waiting for you on Tivo?
Law & Order, CSI, Battlestar Galactica, Intervention... Four hours of mindlessness.

Sunday - Sleepy
I'll check in later, I just got home so I'm gonna go watch TiVo'd shit and get some sleep. First, if anyone wants to get into discussion, which I am all for, please do it at the community. I have very little time each day to read up on everyone and get to questions. When there are so many back and forth interactions going on, I find that I just skip through it all. I then miss legitimate questions and comments.
OK. Vegas. The CF show was rockin as usual... NAILS were fucking unreal. By far the best band out there today in my opinion. Twiggy fits in there really well. Trent is just amazing. All the favorites, Hurt, Closer, Terrible Lie, Head Like a Hole, my personal favorite, Reptile, and lots of new material. They played songs from every album, Pretty Hate, Broken, Downward, Fragile and Teeth. Make sure you catch this show!
The tournament. Crushed it. I won that shit! Came in first out of 50 players. What an awesome weekend. Tired. Goodnight.
