He's back! Thought Dave went on vacation from the land of 6767! Just finished Jimmy Buffets book "A Salty Piece of Land" Truly and incredible novel, Im not even a Buffet fan. Did dig a Margarita once in a while...rocks n salt please! Celebrating th b-day tomorrow w/ friends in New Haven for the St Patricks parade. I just got your Deconstruction album. It's great.
On the song Fire In The Hole, Eric's vocals sound a lot like the vocals in some of the Butthole Surfers songs, is that just a coincidence or were they some sort of influence to you guys along the way?

Awesome to hear you've quit smoking. It's quite a challenge to overcome. I quit 2 years ago. Like everything else, the cravings still come suddenly but after redirecting my focus they go away just as fast. Keep using those patches and through the intense dreams, enjoy the ride. It'll be history before you know it.

You guys did a fine job on CFR tonight as usual! It's always a blast.

I'm actually in Cali visiting a good friend of mine; my first time here.
Another friend of mine called me just a bit ago to tell me what I had supposidely missed out on. I was supposed to meet her in hollywood to go to a bone marrow benefit show type deal at a club; she said that word had it that you and Chris Cornell were supposed to be showing up. How do you get rid of a "stupid" fan, that just won't go away?! Like, you've ignored them time and time again, but they just won't stop! Just won't. Like he won't go away. At all. How do you get rid of them? How?! I can't beat the shit outta him, I don't have time for jail, nor would it be worth it. I don't want to change my URL for one imbecile. But he just won't stop. I've not acknowledge him other than a long time ago telling him to just get over it. Why doesn't he like me, you ask? I have no fucking clue. Just because, I guess. That's a good reason, right? He's mad 'cause he can't have me! I can't believe I just wasted even this amount of time typing this about him. But it's been forever and he stil hasn't gone away :(. Do I just ignore it forever?

I missed CFR but definitely plan to listen later on, so that I can get the full scoop.

Having VERY limited experience with that topic, I wonder that too. On one hand, it's good to experience things and make your lifestyle choices (in either direction) based on that firsthand knowledge. On the other hand, if you don't know what you're missing, you probably don't miss it. I'd love to hear what Dave thinks...
