Carmen Electra, You Are My Hero!

10 days off the smokes! Hell yeah! Anyway, sorry I haven't been checking in lately, I have been working away down at the studio for like 12 hours a day. Steve I. has been keeping a log about the progress over on his site. Clearly he is much more diligent than I when it comes to multitasking. Perhaps I'll be more available when he is doing his vocalizing and hypnotizing. So today. We are out of the studio for the weekend, but Camp Freddy has a gig at some fashion show tonight. I, however, am not gonna be playing as I have my wife coming home from Malaysia. She had been doing some South East charity stuff over there and I want to spend time with her. Both Perk and Chaney will be at the CF show, while Steve I. and I will be hosting tonight's CFR. Talk about multitasking, we are kind of franchising the Camp Freddy experience by being in two places at once. Plus, my wife has helped me arrange to have my favorite actress come down to the studio for a little appearance. Madchen Amick (Twin Peaks, Dreamlover) will be joining Steve and I in house around 7:30 tonight. "Carmen Electra, you are my hero!" Also, a special highlight will be another acoustic jam from Steve and I. A tune called Blue Bruises.

Hey Dave,
A quick question if I may...

What's your take on Mötley Crüe? I ask because I notice you're wearing one of their t-shirts on the cover of Strays and was surprised, given their cock-rock leanings (Girls Girls girls etc...), and the fact that Jane's were so anti that kind of big hair 80s cheesiness. Was it an ironic statement of yours?

Hope you have time to answer. Cheers.

Dave-
Why the Batman shoulder tattoos? Are you a comic fan? Please elaborate :)

Posted by: MW at March 19, 2005 10:47 AM

Hey Dave,

I'm not gonna stop asking, sir.

Do you think "Fucking-MUSTAINE" and Tom Waits will ever join you on the Camp Freddy stage?

for the record, I don't think anyone actually likes Megadeth more than they like the idea of liking Megadeth... just a theory... saying "Megadeth Rules!" or "Fucking-Megadeth!" just carries some sort of metal cachee that we all find so appealing.

hey dave, hey family

thanks for all your love and support about my break up.

thank you again for all your love family.

it means a lot to me, its really lifted my spirits a bit.

thanks again

Dave, I played a coffeehouse gig and tabbed out several of the songs off your solo album and did them. Which song was the easiest/hardest to write?

Dave & DN Family,
Here is an interview of the lovely Carmen Electra. Click on the video to see it.

So Dave, you've been smoke free for the 1st week without Carmen there to help you?!?! That's true will power! I know if my husband wasn't there to "watch" me I'd be sneaking them!!! Do you think it was easier or harder without her there?

Whatever the case, congrats on your success!!!!!!!

Hey Dave,
Great job on not smoking for 10 days, keep it up.
Can't wait for CFR tonight.
Bye

Dave, Dave, you're my fave
Can't wait to hear Blue Bruises, thank you so much for that.If Carmen is back in town, does that mean we might be treated with a weather report? and Madchen can do the traffic?

Also, does this mean there won't be love advice at 7? I loved the new bit.

Question for Sunday...You smoked (past tense!!) for 22 years. Did you have the morning smoker's cough, or the nicotine stained fingers, or the telltale snoring at night, I know you didn't have smoker's teeth, but, just wondering if you were starting to exhibit the other symptoms?

love to you and yours
jezzi(smoked a bit in my day)

Sweet Sweet Dave
Great job on the non-smoking...
I had the weirdest dream about Dave and Carmen. They were at my house, looking absolutely fab but were eating plain oatmeal at my dining room table. But eventually Carmen left and the rest of my dream starts off 'Dear Penthouse..."
Had a rough week at work, am fighing a cold and am unable to run in my road race tonight. That being said I won't miss CFR
tonight. I have a request Dave. Could you play 'All tomorrows parties' for me tonight on CFR? Its the least you can do for invading my dreams and all you sexy bitch you!
As an ex-smoker who has kicked that habit now for over 8 years I'm gonna let you know Dave that plenty of sex helps take the mind off the nicotine. Now that Carmen is home this should not be a problem for you:)
Also, please ask Madchen Amick how her parents came up with such a beautiful name.

Yes! Finally Blue Bruises. I have really been anticipating this song for some reason.

I am so happy to read that you are still off the smokes. Proud, proud, proud. I'm sure Carmen is ecstatic. :)

Hello to everyone! Happy Saturday!

Kyle-hang in there sweetie. Even when it is mutual, it can be difficult. You just get so used to the other person being in your life. ::sigh::

Hey Dave and family,
Thanks Mike for the link to Carmen's interview. It was great. Remind me to invite her over when I start my "do it yourself" renovating in my kitchen. That girl's awesome with a sledgehammer!! And Dave...give that girl a baby!! I'm all ears tonight for CFR. My brother will be listening for the first time, so I'm glad it's going to be a fun one!! Can't wait to hear the song.
Happy Weekend everyone!!
Love to all, Bonita

Dave & DN Family,
I know that you all love TV. Here is a list of the Top 25 TV theme songs. I don't agree with the #1 selection. Tell me what you think.

Hello everyone, 1985 Randy Rhodes died in the plane crash on this day. Little tidbit ta tip your hat to. Reading Motley Crue book "The Dirt." Dont even dig their music but the books entertaining! Never heard the story of "Ozzy fancying a bump of red ants" Damn dude!

Sorry I got upset about that stupid stuff going on at the TPC. Ive never had such emotion bout the internet before...in a way thats a good thing...a little pathetic...but some of you guys have become part of my daily life. I look foreward to hearing from ImDead, Deena, Jezzibel, Creeps, 6767....ECT. Hope someone will help me with my avitar. I sent a picture I scanned at the library to Creeps and Jezzi but it was on Adobe (the only program at the library). Anyway, thanks for everyones support, love, n' soul! Also, special thanks to Creep and Mike C. for tolerating a jerk! LOL if ya know what I mean. I really dig what you guys did at "loop site" especially that Misty track.

"R-E-S-P-E-C-T thats what T-P-C means to thee!" or something like that or The Panic Channel. Better stop typing now

Anyone on here a fan of Degrassi jr/sr high? I don't mean the next generation either. I just picked up season 1 of jr. high on DVD.
Dave, you familiar with or a fan of the original Degrassi?
I grew up with those kids on Degrassi Street.

Tara,
I remember when the show was on. But, I can't say that I was a fan. I think that I saw maybe 4 or 5 episodes.

hey dave, question for sunday:

when TPC tours, any place you are especially looking forward to playing? either just a particular city, or venue in particular you really want to play?

Posted by: poor willie brown at March 19, 2005 05:25 PM

Hi Dave, Hi Everyone,

Dave - Congrats on the non-smoking thing. You really can do anything you put your mind to when you're ready, huh? It's the right time for you, and that's wonderful. (BTW, everyone, thanks for the tips on non-smoking. I will use them when I quit at some point in the near future!)

I'm looking forward to CFR. That's great that Madchen will be calling in. I don't know much about her, so it will be interesting to learn more.

Lastly, enjoy your time with your lovely wife!

As far as the DeGrassi question, to be honest, that show's a little "after my time". I'm afraid there are only so many shows that a person can get obsessed with. LOL. I have about a 2-hour window each night.

Have a lovely evening, everyone.

Love,
-Denise

Hello everyone, I have a serious question I need some advice on, Do you think that an internet love affair is cheating? I've found some disturbing emails and I'm very torn, they have met on yahoo personals/my space, didn't get that far (dam session expire) this girl lives in Russia (go figure) and the emails are " I love you, my russian princess" and "I dream about you" I'm so upset I could throw up right now, I'm trying to keep my cool I don't know how to handle this Help!!!!!!!

Hello dave/all,

Dave- I posted a couple of weeks ago about a dream I had involving bowling and the 6767 family. You have talked about quitting smoking, the patch and wild, vivid dreams. I think it would be cool if you gave us a "quit-smoking dream update" every once in a while. You know, if you have a particularly weird one or something that resonates beyond the morning after. I'd love to hear it... Thanks and keep up the good work- non-smoking and music!

cantsay, you need to have a serious discussion with your significant other. Anonymous flirting is one thing, but, there are deeper issues involved here. Why does he feel the need to be the internet Cassanova?

First things first, though, calm down, take some deep breaths, sleep on it, then straight up ask him what's the deal?
my own opinion

6767 sounds like you have issues with females. Nobody likes a jerk on here!
Good night all!

Hell Yes! Congrats on the 10 days off ciggs! That's awesome. I know how hard it is, but they're so nasty! Not to mention how nasty you smell if you smoke. YUCK! Good for you. Have fun with your honey and let her know how much you missed her, you two are a great couple. Take care and good luck. If you need support I'm here for you.
