Christmas Day!

Obrcarmenelectraice

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We have a special CFR tonight. (Parental Guidance Suggested) Also, for those of you who haven't received the e-mail with the Christmas gift link, it is here on The Panic Channel website. The track was recorded and produced by Brian Virtue and directed by Marc Racco. We have received so much support from all of you without anything available in terms of content, that we figured, it's about time we give you something concrete. The song is called "Bloody Mary" and was inspired by, as someone here pointed out, a character in my book named Mary. Lyrics by Steve Isaacs and music by the Channel. We hope you enjoy what is a small piece of what's to come in the New Year.

Carmen and I are off to see the family and do the Christmas thing. Exchange presents, see the kids, eat too much and share stories by the lights of the tree. This has been one of the greatest years of my life and I am so grateful to all of you for sharing this place with me. I wish you all a very Happy Holiday.

Love,

Dave

Thanks for the present!
I appreciate that song, it reminds me "To Match The Sun", don't know why... I see it as good song for the ending credits of a great Tarentino movie in the "Pulp fiction" spirit!
Merry Christmas you all,

I guess now is an appropriate time to say thank you Dave! for helping me indirectly this year through confusing times (music) or entertaing me when i'm down (celebrity poker awesomeness) being there in lonely nights(DTTAH) but most importantly, inspring me in times of vanity (one word: hair). I may not be your biggest fan, but consider this a small gift on Christmas: Thank You. I mean that's better than giving you money...

Thanks Dave, and same to you and Carmen. It has been a cool year. I love this format and it's great to feel like you share things that are close to you and your life with us. I was thinking though, you might consider an advice column. Lets face it, you are considerably talented and have been in some of the greatest bands of our time. You've kicked drugs (more than once)and oh-yeah, YOU MARRIED CARMEN ELECTRA!!!!!!!! It sems like you've got it pretty well figured out. It would be great if you'd pass it along! Merry Christmas

^That's a lovely festive vision there, Rob.
Me, I can't see jack shit on this horrid dial up, but hopefully I can get to someone's house today, crash their family get together, and ck this out.
Dave, just wanted to also say a big ass Thank You, for everything. I wish you nothing but success in the new year for yourself, Carmen, and for TPC. Look forward to the new year in great anticipation of the release, tour, more videos, etc.
Question-will the full length vid of the show be available to purchase one day, perhaps after the CD release? God, I'd love to have it.
May God Bless you awesome people!

The song and video are both amazing... nice work fellas. Well, I hope everyone has had an awesome day so far, talk to you soon.

Yuletide Greetings from the city that never sleeps!

Hope everyone here is having a wonderful holiday thus far. The outlaws...ahem, inlaws...should be here any minute. Heheh. Just stopping in to say hey! And someone mentioned having a 6767 NYC meetup next week? It sounds awesome, I'm down. Everyone I met at the book signing and the CF show rocks, so it'll definetly be a good time. Anyone have any ideas where to meet up?

Dave, thanks again for the excellent music and for keeping in touch with your fans. Glad to hear this has been such a good year for ya, you deserve it after all the hard work and dedication! And I'm sure most of us here feel the same way.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Peace,

Sean, I suggested the 6767 meetup. I don't know... how about everyone that's interested email me and then we can send reply all emails? I have no clue what my week looks like yet, but I think it would definitely be a blast. Dee, where are you? Merry Christmas, luv :)

Merry Christmas to all!

Just wanted to say that I had a very Dave Navarro Christmas this year. After checking in on this site saily and becoming a bigger fan by the post my loved ones realized there were a few things I would like. I got the PRS poster, the book (dttah) and trust no one. I had the cd but hey it's the thought that counts. Anyway wanted to say how much I love the interaction on this site and thank Dave for being so honest, up front and just down right cool. Thanks and Happy holidays to all!

Wow, that was fun. I didn't sound as bad as I thought I would. Thanks for the CFR clip Man. That made my somewhat lackluster day. You and Billy are so freaking cool. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's the truth.
And I'll take you up on your offer, gladly :). Massive road trip? I'm down :)
Peace!

I think that was the longest I've ever been away from the net in years. I've been on a creative/xmas gift making frenzy thanks to inspiration and the power of caffeine. I crocheted 14 scarves, 30 worm bookmarks, and 2 apple magnets, then made 5 personalized shirts, a drawing...

... and a partridge in a pear tree.

I am tired.

But life is good. Real good. Basically because nothing is going real bad right now and that is really great.

I really, really missed you guys! And I can't say enough about Bloody Mary. It's so dark, rockin, soft, hard... I dreamed it would be amazing and it's just so much more. A thousand "WOW!"s

I'm totally down with an east coast gathering. I too am off next week. I'm not into doing something outdoors if it is brutally cold though. A few of us survived a gathering in NYC a few years back (T? Remember?) and the temperature was meat locker in Greenland cold. Loved to hang with the gang but the temp was torture. So, may I suggest: Warm day= indoor/outdoor/whatever, or cold day= indoor festivities. Who's with me?

Spreading the mistletoe, xoxo

Hi Dave and Family,

WOW! "Bloody Mary" an awesome song: catchy, rocking... Great music from some of the best musicians around today. Thanks so much!! I'll probably be humming it in my sleep tonight! (My husband thought it was good too!) Looking forward to more from TPC.

I'm glad to hear that everyone had a nice Christmas holiday. We did too... I can't complain. I've been truly blessed with a great family, great friends, good health, and no major, unsurmountable problems this year. I hope for the same for all of you in 2005.

As far as an NYC gathering, I SHOULD be able to make it. I don't start my new job for another week or two. I agree w/ Deena about the weather issue. The less walking aroud we have to do, the better! We should pick a place with good food, good drink (if applicable), and ample space and time just to hang out and chitchat. Any thoughts? Hmm... what's on the corner of 6th Ave and 7th St? Or 6th St and 7th Ave? LOL

Best wishes!

Love,
-Denise

Well, home I am...I got to see the Lakers lose, Denver win, had some awesome Minnesota chowder...and came home to It's a Wonderful Life and Christmas rapping by the waitresses....wonderful song....

My son is good, but we have a long way to go still...my family is going through various stages of personal chaos...but...life's like that, verdad?

my 'someone' is going through own family drama...hopefully we will hook up tomorrow and spend the day watching movies...Can you believe he has never seen L.A. Confidential? or Turner and Hooch?

TRAGIC!!!

Its been a while since my last post, during which time my 10 year relationship seems to be getting back on track, also found a new job, now all i need to do is stop my 4 year old running around the house singing"SEX IS VIOLENT" wonder what they'll make of that when he returns to catholic school. Hope you all having a rocking new year..... catch up with y'all soon.

To all my crazy cool NYC-area 67ers: give me a place and time, and I'm there. (I got yelled at by a bunch of people for taking over a group outting recently, so I'll leave the planning for this to someone else. New Year's Resolution: Let go of my control freakdom.)

Posted by: NightBird at December 26, 2004 06:10 AM

Hey Dave,
If you want i will put my version of the tab of Bloody Mary up on Mxtabs.net, it should be all correct, but if you want to keep the tab secret i wont put it up.

If however i can but it up ill be able to do it by about 10 o clock English time or around 2 ish American time.

Posted by: Biblical at December 26, 2004 06:18 AM

LOL Tonto, good to hear. Maybe repeatedly play the "Go On" video clip to replace the Sex Is Violent? Umm, that may not work either. Catholic Nun-"Excuse me, could you please sit down" Rocking 4 yr old-"GO ON".

I'd like to take this time to wish Mr. Lars Ulrich a Happy Birthday who's 41 today! Yes, you can't spell Metallica without the word Metal folks. And thank goodness for his testimony to Congress. I can actually see what he tried to do, and can somewhat agree.
http://www.yourcongress.com/ViewArticle.asp?article_id=407

On a serious note, I'd also like to wish Mr. John Walsh a Happy 59th Birthday. I don't think I have to spell out what he indirectly means to this community. A true shining example of what one can do to take a tragedy and make a positive out of it.
http://www.amw.com/

On another serious note, I don't know if you are a praying type of person, but reports are saying that possibly over 4 thousand people have died overnight in Sri Lanka due to sunami waves caused by an earthquake. I'm sure the situation can use all the help they can get.

Have a good day folks.

Sorry can't make an NYC gathering. Getting ready to hit the road with my outfit, 1/20 - 1/27. I am willing to do a gathering in Portland or Seattle, as I will be out there during these dates.

To Mike NYC,
Don't know about you, but I've been getting some confusion between us, so to help the cause, I'll thrown in a FLA on the end of my posts.

Posted by: Sean at December 26, 2004 09:47 AM

Dammit, there's two Sean's now? Maybe I should have kept my old handle of Sean-IX?

Okay, just so everyone here now knows the difference: The Sean that just posted up there at 9:47AM seems to be a new 6767'er from Tennessee. NOT the one that's been posting here for a while.

THIS is the original Sean (the one from NYC, was at the book signing, the CF Irving Plaza show, made the Captain Dave/CHiPS doll image, etc) who posted much earlier in this thread (the 19th comment), and in many many other threads from the previous days/weeks/months. :)

Hopefully that'll clear any confusion that may have occurred. There seems to be a lot of us with the same name here this week. :)

Sean from Tennessee, would you be so kind as to change your handle? That would also really help clear up any future confusion between the two of us. Thanks.

Peace,
- Sean
