I'll be working tonight =( Stupid Holiday hours I'll be stuck there until about 10. I might try to call in on my lunch if I can get up the courage and pull seniority to get the late lunch. If anyone should want to give me a call with some updates (760-740-0170 ex. 1560)I would be so greatly indebt to you. OK time to get ready for work I've been puting this off for too long.

hey dave, much love, damn man your comments on that VH1 show, especially the metalhead one are too funny...

ooftymcgoofty----did you see me giving you props on Steve's site for coming to the Key Club all the way from JAPAN?
Dave!!!! Good morning! I asked at Billy's site and I will ask here as well, any chance of finding Damageplan to play on CFR tonight?
I am planning on introducing my 'someone' to Blanca tonight...I don't want to define us yet...all I know, is that he knows me and still likes me....how can that be so bad?
Dave, I saw a pic of you and younger brother on motorcycle..do you still ride, and if you do, has Carmen ever taken a ride with you?
'Someone' has expressed many desires, heehee, but one of them is to take me on bike ride with him, I told him there is an awful lot of trust involved to ensure against fatality, mostly on my part....

oh, I almost forgot, my dear Colorado friend, the one who introduced me to Jane's and his inspiration to pick up a guitar, this guy named Dave, left his first post here yesterday. His name is Imdead.(what a weirdo), but I love him, miss him, and since he posted link first, if you are interested in meeting jezebel's former object of obsession, who is now my best friend, click on my name below....He is Messy Stench's biggest fan now, but I don't hold that against him, lol
jezebel(hey eric, Blanca says you are 'interesting', I didn't ask if she had seen Fight Club...I am Jack's dumb ass!!)

Kyle-congrats and way to go! Sean-good luck with finals! And let's all hope the stream works for poor Emma's sake! Emma, I felt so bad for you last week, lol, when you actually were up but the stream was down!

Greetings all!
The good news is, I finally managed to get Indie 103.1 streaming radio thingie to work. (I had to reinstall Java via a different ISP.) Yay!
The bad news is, I won't be around for CFR tonight, as I have a holiday party to attend.
Once again, I send my love and I'll be there in spirit. Please know that I WANT to be there.
Lastly, I finally saw the beginning of the Metalhead episode of "My Favorite Years". Previously, I'd only seen the last half of it. Who knew that the sweet, beautiful Dave was a Satan worshipper?!
I do identify with these VH1 shows, because I totally know how certain music (and the associated culture and attitude) can get us through our difficult teenage years... and even beyond that ... and help us to "find" ourselves. As long as you're not hurting anyone, it's cool. Whatever works for you.
Love,
-Denise

Lyn, you're such a sweetheart!

Hi All,
Hope the streaming works tonight, I still haven't gotten to putting up all my Christmas decorations. My vintage Barbies are in their Xmas finest, but that's it! lol
Guess I'll try to do what I attempted last week.....enjoy CFR while decorating.
Btw, to all who prayed for my best friends cat Emmas return...it had been 10 loooong days for her.......GREAT NEWS.....the cat showed up crying at their back door late last night! Guess all those 'positive vibes' helped. Thanks again!
My friend & her husband are astonished, as the cat is an indoor pet with no recollection of outdoor smells for her to find her way back home.
I'm so glad Emma is back, I can imagine how upset my friend has been worrying. My friend told me that was the BEST Christmas present she could have wished for!
take care~!

Dave I have finally received my signed copy of your book thank you so much!!!! Heres to the snail mail!!

I have a spare if you haven't.
Happy belated Birthday to Freak!! hope you had an excellent day man!! Your a star!
Happy Saturday All,
Kirsty x
Posted by: Kirsty at December 11, 2004 02:02 PM
oh thanks Kirsty, that's sweet!..but i already have my copy. i ordered it on the internet and i got it october/early november..i think..well, i don't remember, but that's my wild guess..haha! enjoy reading, now you finally have it too!
Congrats Freak and Kyle!
Itanja, my cat dissapeared a couple of years ago too and 6 days later he sat crying at the front door. amazing how cat's find their way back. my cat never goes to the streetside of the house, we only let him into the garden, so cars won't kill him. he was just a little bit skinnier than usual, but healthy. (he was still young back then)
i hope i'll see you all tonight!!

Hey everyone, i hate to do this, but it's for a good cause...
I recently helped a friend of mine help press his band's first album. With the money they make from it, they are going to go out on tour.
http://www.electra-kill.com/
go to merchandise and then CD
It's electro/industrial/metal. Very cool stuff
My (ex)Girlfriendis on the cover of the album, and if you're one of the first to order you'll get a free poster (with her naked on it)
Sorry to do promo on here, but it's good shit. Check it out. And if you like it, tell your friends.
Posted by: Six7Six7 at December 11, 2004 02:59 PM
Hey Six7Six7, If she's naked on the poster, wouldn't that be porno instead of promo?
Hey, got any naked posters of your girlfriend? No? Wanna buy some?-comes with a CD, lol?

jezzi(Thanks Dave, for playing Pantera...you ROCK!)
Posted by: jezebel at December 11, 2004 06:17 PM
LINDA!!!!! did you get my card?..it's probably still on it's way
6 months to go, let's hope time will fly, can't wait to meet you, my dear :D
Posted by: Emma at December 11, 2004 06:22 PM
I love "a bottle of pills..." by Pantera. When people are thumping their bass...I do it THAT song! It goes like this...
"I fucked your girlfriend last night.
While you snored and drooled, I fucked your love.
She called me Daddy. And I called her baby when I
Smacked her ass. I called her sugar when I ate
Her alive till daylight. And I slept with her all
Over me, from forehead to ribcage I dripper her ass.
Sometimes I thought you might be spying, living out some
Brash fantasy, but no. You were knocked out. But we were
All knocked out you know. In a way
I serve too many masters.
We didn't know you'd break the bottle that the magic
Came in to use those jagged shards to slit our wrists
And neck. And you'd do it too, you're that kind of dude.
But you wouldn't know what you were doing because
I didn't, your girlfriend could have been a burn
Victim, an amputee, a dead body. But god damn I wanted
To fuck.
I'm serving too many fucking masters.
[I told you. I told you motherfucker!")

Yup. Just came home from the bar, trashed as helll, but Indie 103.1 & CFR works well.
I think my body'll have to conform to my bed tonight 'cos I'm kinda limp.
More smokes, more headache tomorrow.

Posted by: Emma at December 11, 2004 08:12 PM
You guys were awesome! I've never been able to catch the show, because I'm usually working. Man, am I glad I did!
Janis is a riot! If I could meet anyone other than you and the Camp Freddy guys, and Scott of course, it would definately be her.
When is the Christmas special airing? Maybe I'll make special picture set, a la Suicide Girls, for those who tune in.
Posted by: Amber at December 11, 2004 10:01 PM
Dave, here's my personal 10 questions.
1. Do you ever run into Rob or Dean Deleo and have you thought about inviting them to a Camp Freddy gig?
2. Do you ever receive or ask for movie scripts for any on camera roles?
3. You've said in the past that when you play, you sometimes think of things in terms of colors. When we see you looking at the neck while playing, when you get on your level, are you still thinking of notes, or finger placement or could you play most of it all blindfolded?
4. While recording TPC stuff, how is the songwriting process going? I know that Night1 is Steve's baby, but during these sessions, do you suggest lyrics or does Chaney suggest riffs? Lyrics or music first? Just looking for a general description as to the input.
5. Have you given thought as to who TPC would like to tour with once the CD is released? Would you like to be on bigger bills with say U2 or the Stones as an opener, or would you rather hit the 500-3000 seat clubs first? If you do the smaller clubs will you be taking Doheny with you?
6. They say that payola is illegal, but come on, we all know it exists (cough, cough, franz ferdinand, cough). How will TPC determine what market they'd like to be heard on and what steps will be taken to reach those formats/markets?
7. Who's in your CD changer?
8. Were there record suits at the TPC show at the Key Club and if so, has anything materialized into a signing/deal as of yet, or, are there discussions on the table? Have your guys at Capitol displayed interest in TPC?
9. Typically, when you tour, how many guitars will you take with you and what are they other than the PRS?
10. Do you ever ck out unsigned bands by visiting purevolume.com or any other sites that are similar?
Thanks, and I'm REALLY looking forward to the CF show. Peace!
