Wow, so close to the top. Happy T-Day to all of you. i saw a cool clip of Dave and Carm the other night and Dave's comments about the "third date". Not to mention the wedding shots that they played which were awesome. I was the same way when Mrs. Z and i got married.
That's all I got:) Have a great one everyone!

Hey, I was first!!! So in honor of that, I have a question that I've been meaning to ask Dave for ages. Let's say for example, (Ok, not an example, a real instance) I was someone that had a lot inside that I'd love to put in a song, but I have zero musical talent. If I were to sit and write some stuff, should I keep it to myself? Should I send it to someone? I mean i could write and write, but what good does it do me if I don't share it? Any thought?

I'm thankful for my family and my life.

Good vibes to all.
Rock on.

Wow, Dave, was that intentional, LOL, to totally make turkey unappetizing for us all?! It certainly worked for me... Anyways, I hope that you and Carmen have a great Thanksgiving!

good a.m. to you dave. I just love you soooo much and wanted to wish you and your family happy thanksgiving! I have been up all night cooking a huge meal and am not a bit tired at all. Just a new way of life I suppose and it is a beautiful life! Everyone enjoy your holiday. So much to be thankful for this year. It is just about the dusk before dawn here. Think I will pour a cup of java and sit out side for a few and totally reflect! Love to all. Respectfully, Shawna.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you folks south of MY border. Even though Canadian Thanksgiving was in October, I'm still getting a turkey dinner this Saturday. Life is good.

Sunday, I watched a show on the Arts and Entertainment channel that was about Hollywood Home Movies. They talked about the history of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, pools, tennis (tennis moms, huh!), and eventually its' decline due to stalkers, dark side of life, etc.
And who else would they have talking about the subject than lifelong Angeleno, Dave! It was an excellent choice for someone from our generation speaking about the subject. He's seen it from both sides. From the murders of his aunt and mom, to his own home movies (show!), his life reflects what they were talking about in the show; the L.A. Lifestyle! If you get a chance, check it out.

It's good to see Dave do something cool like that instead of talking about "stroking the bottle" while listening to Christina Aguilera's "Genie" on VH1!
And the humming...the humming!!!

LOL, Dave!

Hmmm, please, I know that French is supposed to be associated with good taste, particularly concerning food (I said 'supposed to' !!), but don't write 'Bon Appétit' above this picture !! lol. It's too much for my poor little French soul... ;-)
Appétissant...
Anyway, have a nice day, Dave, and take care.
BTW, I am currently reading your book for the second time...

Happy Thanksgiving to you All,

The Turkey woke me up lol I was just checking my E's and of course I always come here too bleary eyed and then BAM! one huge turkey in front of me!!!
As we don't celebrate thanksgiving in the Uk or in Holland I was slightly puddled for a moment :)

Have a good one,

Early day, eh, Dave?

That turkey doesn't frighten me. I live the in the country and have flocks of wild turkeys all the time (no not the kind you drink - the real deal!)

Anyway - this is the busiest holiday for me as I have to share with the in-laws. From what I understand, it is not as bad as being in prison . . .

Laugh and have a great day!

Quick question for our French friends....
Bonjour! I have a couple of CDs by Saian Supa Crew and have seen them a couple of times too, brilliant shows, excellent music, but what the f**k are they saying?!? Just wondering whether they are successful in France and what sort of image they project in their homeland, are they smooooth like De La or are they vicious lyrically? Just wondering. Even with a small understanding of French they sing too fast!
Cheers

Damn that is one ugly bird! What a rude awakening :D

Steve...you said it simply and perfectly...
"I'm thankful for my family and my life." Me too...ditto that!

Happy turkeyday everyone.

I used to work with this old jamacan with a real thick accent. Great guy, hard worker. I asked him how much turkey he was going to eat for thanksgiving. He said"I no eat no turkey mon, turkey ugly!" "well" I said, "you gonna eat anything special?" "Yea mon," he replied, "I gonna eat mi a goat". "Where the hell you get goat meat from?" I asked. "From mi back yard mon," he laughed, "I been rasin mi a goat for months."

Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone! I'm thankful for my sweet baby angel-girl, Jenay (who makes 3 next week by the way). She has totally refocused my life in a different direction, and I like it!

Dave, enjoy your laid back day! Are you a vegetarian? You may have answered that in the past, just curious. That is a disgustingly ugly picture - but as usual, even the ugly can have a beautiful ending! hehehe. Pass the dark meat :) Somehow seeing it really just whets the appetite (ugh!)

Love to all! Aimee

Hey all of you... Just back from a two week tour. I was playing viola in symphony orchestra and very happy to be at home... Only negative side is that i caught flu and have a terrible fever and can barely speak. The winter started really fast. when I left from Finland it was +5C and after a week it was -20C... Lots of new people here, but where is Jezzie. Usually she has more than a dozen comments everyday... Happy turkey evening I hope you´ll choke... and greetings for Dave.

WOW, that turkey looks damn angry! As I opened the page & just saw the top, for a second I thought the top of it's head was a brain! looooool

No turkey for me today either, I DO eat poultry (no red meat, pork or veal), this will be a very low key Holiday for me this year.

Hope everyone is spending today with someone they love or with their family....hopefully you love them too!

Have a great 'Turkey Day' 6767 family~!

Heyyyy Happy Turkey Day everyone! I must admit, Thanksgiving, is rather low on my totem pole of Holiday's, going through the motion's sort of thing, but then again, that's what all holiday's are about now. I'll def take the time off, and it'll be nice to see some fam i've missed as of late. BTW, didn't know you were such a fiend for Forensic show's, Dave. My gf and I are totally addicted. We call them our "M&M" nights (Murder & Mayhem) or "D&D" (Death & Destruction). Anyway, yeah...from City Confidential, to Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, American Justice... my TV is always on A&E or Court TV... just find the whole process, down to the mental state of the criminal, fascinating...but it's especially gnarly when they catch some guy 20 years later because he left saliva on an envelope from licking the stamp or something of that nature... justice prevailing, such a beautiful, albeit rare occurance... sorry, just the cynic within me... anyway, peace to everyone, especially Pilgrims & Indian's...today is your day, wherever you are...

You're so funny, Shane.
Thanks for responding a couple of days ago.
I haven't checked out Tony Levins, yet, but I'm looking forward to it. The one I saw demonstrating the use of the stick was Greg Howard. He's the only one I've seen so far. I love how he says, "It's easier than it looks." That's somewhat 'encouraging' since it looks very complicated.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Pony,

Did you email the guy that was selling the guitar? It would be interesting to read how he obtained it.

It would be cool if Dave could verify if it's authentic or not.

If not, we could so screw with the guy! }=] *evil grin*

Timothy, really, a DOZEN??,, remember, it's quality, not quantity, that counts....
here I am, hey, guess where I just came from? NO, not Vegas, jeez, what was I thinking....no, my local blood bank had a special Turkey day blood drive, and you could join the Bone Marrow Registry for free!! All that, and cookies, too, nothing beats blood bank cookies!

so, have other pretty good news too, but don't want to talk about it yet, as not to jinx it...My family still isn't talking to me, but my son sounded happy when I called him yesterday, I think I will curl up on couch today with puppy and watch football...

DAVE!!! ok, CSI boy, what has changed in your perspective since watching all those crime dramas and cases....does it sharpen an already suspicious nature, or are you more careful when you go out in public not to leave any water bottles behind...?

I love my adopted family!!

Ah... the issue of eating meat. Such a moral dilemma. Is a turkey a cute, innocent creature, or tasty, protein-filled sustenance? I guess it's all in how you look at it. I don't have the answer.

All I know is, it takes all kinds. Some of us eat meat, some of us don't. I tried the benevolent vegetarian thing a few times, but I find that I enjoy meat too darn much. I've accepted the fact that I'm a carnivorous beast, baby! Sue me. Then pass the gravy, please.

May you have many things to be thankful for...
Happy Thanksgiving,

-Denise

Hey Colleen!

It wasn't too bad with the in-laws. Had some very funny messages from my family when I got home. See, my in-laws are gourmets - you never know what you are going to get as there are no traditions! They could have served fish as that was on the original menu too! Had to do away with wheat at the table as my mil has decided she may be allergic to it. So we had corn every thing. No pumpkin pie here - she made a pumpkin cheesecake from a recipe she picked up in NYC a couple of weeks ago. And the mashed potatoes (it is my job to smash them) was cooked in rosemary and they a garlic paste was added. They got Yukon Gold potatoes and they turn into a paste. Why they don't just go traditional . . . .

Anyway, it wasn't prison this time because - I had the keys!

Hope you all had a good day. Now to go finish doing my Christmas gift wrapping. The tree comes out later today!

Love to all!

Thanks for that, really appreciate it. I liked the music and was curious. I'd also heard a song with a sample from a reggae song in it suggesting that you shoot 'batty-boys' in the head which suprised me! Thought I'd find out a bit more about them before I bought any more of their stuff! Maybe its better I don't understand everything I listen to??
