October Already

Rsm_the_panic_mushroom_Let's see... What's been cooking? We started up rehearsals again yesterday and had a blast. We are still arranging and writing material. I know that Steve I has been working on a new bit and I am really looking forward to fleshing it out with the guys. We are even touching up our "old" material as we go. Old. About 2 months old. Tomorrow, is an all new Camp Freddy radio. Sorum will be in the studio with us again. Good to have him back. I am gonna try to debut Shoot, the online jam on the air, provided I can get a copy burned by then. Sunday I am off to New York for a quick press tour with my wife, Riss and Neil. Should be fun, I love New York, especially this time of year. Just a little word about the book. It's not for everyone. It is dark, intense and even funny at times, but ultimately it is my story of hope. I am finally putting it out in the hopes of possibly helping someone who is struggling with addiction, Lord knows, I have been down that road. If my experiences can help someone else in any way I am proud to share them. I look forward to meeting some of you on the East Coast. Have we decided on some kind of way to know who the community people are? So we can tell each other apart? An "X" made out of tape on our shirts? I just know they rush people through the signings. I'd love to be able to know who my family is. Have a beautiful day everyone.

1. Hey Dave, I love all these new hats, how come you've suddenly got into them these last years, are they all designer label stuff aswell?

OK. I'll address the hats. I do love them, don't get me wrong, but I am growing my hair out and it is in that "in-between" stage. Killer hats though, made by Rod Keenan in New York.

2. Dave, how do all the musicians like courtney love and jerry cantrell etc. get involved with CF? im curious as to how all the musicians get involved and how it all comes together?

We simply call them up and ask them to participate. That's it. It's a total no pressure, friendly, "if you are free" type of thing.

3. Hey Dave! Is Carmen every gonna sing again? And have you thought about her performing with CF?

I'd love to see that happen. It would be dope to have her do some kind of hip hop rap thing. She is so good at that.

4. I'm gonna try this one more time and if you don't answer, I'll assume you just really, really don't want to: Have you ever had any really scary flight experiences???

I just haven't had any.

5. And why won't you tell us what is your religion?

I have been very open about that. I have a deep spiritual faith of my own understanding that cannot be characterized as a religion as it is not organized. It just works for me.

I wish I could be in NY for a book signing, my dad has an apartment there, if only I didn't have this crazy Philosophy paper to write *sigh* Anyone know something about (academic) Philosophy that they'd like to share with me? I'm open for ideas right now. I'll buy the book even w/o the signature though :-)

I thought your hair was looking longer Dave - looks great.:-)

I hardly even get to post these days vecause of my ridiculous schedule - the riding coach wants to kill me I think. He made me get off the horse I was riding and do push ups because my pinky finger was on the wrong side of the rein. Some of us on the team think he may be psychotic. Anyway, I still love reading everyone else's posts, and I'm glad you all are doing well.

I'm going away for the whole weekend basically, and staying in a hotel.
and there's no way computer access there.
Hope you have a good show, all of the CF gang.
And a great trip to the East.

Dave,

I feel you on the inbetween stage of hair growth. Mine is a very awkward stage. Its turning into a very slight mullet so as you can imagine I am in hats everyday.

Whatever happened to the armwarmer look I was loving that?

Good morning family! THANKS DAVE!!! For answering my question abotu Carmen joining CF. You made my day again. THANK YOU. Wish I could be there at the book signing. Bummer:-( OH well. Someday my prince will come.(TO ME) lol! Anyway, Ceechica sorry about the house. I know what that feeling is like. Don;t worry, it was not meant to be yours. I will try and stop by AIM but they are strick her at work. I have to be slick.

YEAH BOY!!!! The book is almost here. I also have waited since 2001 for it. Ok I better, take care everyone. Peace, love, and the Panic Channel.

What a dumbass I am I can't even spell. OH well, I know you guys feel me. Cause you are my peeps.

Posted by: Crecencia at October 1, 2004 11:32 AM

Thanks so much Dave! :D

I feel somewhat comforted by your answer...I don't fly much and I'm a little nervous about it sometimes on longer trips (I'm going to Puerto Vallarta for New Years)...I figured someone who has flown as much as you either would say you've had no bad trips...(on a plane, that is, which I'm happy to hear)...or, that sometimes its rough but that's normal...either way, I'm feeling a bit better knowing someone who travels a lot has not had a bad experience ;)

Have a good time in New York and a pleasant flight! lol :) We'll miss you terribly, of course!

Posted by: Cori at October 1, 2004 11:35 AM

PS....not that it matters what I think, but, I'm thrilled you are growing your hair out...I really love it longer, very sexy! ;)

Posted by: Cori at October 1, 2004 11:37 AM

in-between stage.... ah, nice way of putting it. mine doesn't really... have a stage to be in-between as it just doesn't seem to grow, ever, so... yeah. *clears throat*

I have nothing vaguely amusing to spout, or anything interesting to ask. So I'll just type random shiznola for a bit. (:

love, Soph. xx

Posted by: Soph at October 1, 2004 11:40 AM

I'm gonna wear an X, even though I'm not in NYC *le sigh*. With everyone else doing it, I think it'll be good for the vibe to send positive engery. That stuff is rather powerful. Peace, love, & X's ~Karina.

Finally caught up on my reading here....Colleen, I'm so sorry about your house disappointments...my Hubby is a realtor, in this market you can't believe how often that happens! Fortunately...seems to be slowing down just a smidge so, maybe it will get better. Just a tip (I'm sure your Realtor has already told you this) if it's something you want really bad, be sure to come in over the asking price and include a pre-qualification letter as a show of strength. Good Luck Sweetie!!!

Hey Dave,

How was it playing with Scott Weiland? What you think of him as a person? Is he doing alright? are you and STP fan? i love STP! and Weiland solo album...

Posted by: UteroiD at October 1, 2004 12:04 PM

Dave,

I wanted to ask your permission to use this picture as my new logo. I don't want to rip off the deftones album any longer and this really helps tie myself to you and spread and all that stuff.

Hey Dave,
I'm really bummed I'm gonna miss your book signing, however my question is
have you ever considered having Grace jones perform with CF. I thinks she is so under rated. Now that would be one hell of a show.

Posted by: S.E.4 at October 1, 2004 12:19 PM

Dave,
hi,
if you have a second...

could you please list the address of the place that you are going to be signing you book on oct.4 in NYC...

thank you,

HEY DAVE!

Any plans traveling up the coast to San Francisco with CF OR TPC?

Posted by: skullneck at October 1, 2004 12:24 PM

Hiya :)

I heard Flea mention back in '95 or so that he came up with the main guitar part for My Friends. I was wondering if this is true and how you worked out the rest of the song from that?

Thanks

also at Bookends in Ridgewood, NJ, on October 7th

Xs on shirts? Hmm, it just won't do with the outfit I was planning on wearing. Can't we all just temporarily tattoo 6767 on a body part of our choosing, one that hopefully will be bared.? I know at book signings you are rushed through, but I would hope we would be able to shake Dave's hand..we NEED a secret handshake;)

Maybe we should all wear hats! Unicorns? Well, anyway, New York peeps, you'll be first, so let us know what you decide, and we'll do the same over here!

Blanca...Call me!!! Come with me on Tuesday to buy the book, please?

Posted by: Cori at October 1, 2004 12:58 PM

Cori--just left a comment for you around the corner at Steve's place :)

Howard Stern show is live radio on scheduled day, then shown in edited version on E!, So they are pretty much the same. I usually don't stay up late enough to watch on TV...the glamourous life of the single mom...but might have to make exception

hi all, i know i've posted this before, but i m gonna do it again, cause i'm kinda stressed out about it and i could use all the help i can get...

i'm thinking bout going to a university in the states, but that takes a lot of work. the preperations take about a year!! and i m not even sure i want to do it. it costs lots of money which i don't have (or not yet..who knows), i have to choose a city or what so ever and a university. i m collecting and comparing information now, but does anyone here has some good advice, tips, what so ever for me? things that can help me make up my mind, even small datails
that would really help...everything is so different in the US
thanks, emma

http://www.redlands.edu/

Emma, this is where I have been going for the past 7 years. It's a beautiful campus, they have a great, supportive, artistic student life. It's a private college, but I was able to get loans, grants, scholarships, you name it. I love the fact that Redlands has such a small town feel to it, but that it is in close proximity to everything, the beach, the mountains, the desert, L.A. all less than an hour away...check out the website, email me if you want to hear me go on about the BOYS and the nightlife!!

ps. The onsite Greek theatre is a great concert venue! Steve Miller played here a few years back when he was getting ready to go on tour, it's open, yet secluded...
TPC....hint, hint, wink wink ;0

Soph...i sooo feel your pain on lack of hair growth...i've been trying to grow mine out for over two years...it never seems to get past my neck tho...so i've just resigned to keep it chin length...looks better anyway

anyways...i'm hitting up the book signing!! sooo freakin' excited...it's only a few days (5!!) before my birthday so i'm considering it my bditty present to myself...a day of dave. just confused about the fact that the book goes on sale on the 5th and the signing is on the fourth...can anyone clarify this? i got an e-mail from ellen...any 6767 peeps who are going e-mail her and we can try and form a group...i have no tape to wear lol...maybe i'll just wear a "hello my name is" tag and write "6767" with my posting name on it lol...that's all i really have to write for today!

k, I got some info about New York's VIP package.

It's $800 dollars for a table of four and shit I forgot how much it was for a table of 8. But for the people that can afford it, it's tax deductible and remember it's for a good cause. So if you break it down it's only... drum roll here .....$200 a piece.

Hi All,
It's been a while since I've posted. Things have been crazy lately. But I've been present 'in spirit'.

I'm super excited about going to the CF show in NY on 10/21. I will be going with a few of my fellow Dave fans, and plan to have a blast.

Now I hear about this book signing... I will definitely try to make it (providing there are no catastrophes at home or work that evening). I'll probably be wearing work clothes, but I'll try to look somewhat cool. As far as an identifying piece of clothing, I just don't know. I'll have to think about that one...

Take care,
-Denise

Dave - What kind of hairdo are you ultimately shooting for? Bobbed? Long? Mullet? Wavy? Straight? Do tell!

Hi to Dave and all here maybe you guys can help me out. lol I'm a bit clueless on the book signing in NYC can someone send me info like the time and location for the Barnes and Nobles apperance (if am I correct it's there). I'm going to try HARD AS HELL not to miss it seeing that it'll be the day after my birthday and meeting or even seeing Dave would be the best gift I could give myself lol

Mister emi,

PLEASE refrain from posting your 'dirty linen' on Dave Navarro's weblog.

We 'veterans' here went through this 'stream-of consciousness writing' for way too many years at the old iMusic Spread board, with a person who shall remain nameless. Hopefully they have finally silenced their mental demons by finding the correct prescription medication to help them.

Their single posts ended up being one page long 'rants' on a daily basis. Are we to expect this from you?

Hope I'm not being rude by addressing you, I certainly don't mean to be. But I'm sure many others here will feel the same way if you make this a daily ritual.

Thanks for your cooperation,
itanja

Posted by: itanja at October 1, 2004 03:39 PM

ok, now I must get serious..I thought emi was just being funny, but I see now something entirely different is going on

Can I just ask you emi, one thing? Why do you babble so incoherently in English, yet so eloquently in Spanish?

Quienes hug?

Otherwise, go check the United Way, Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs, Amnesty International, and Veterans for Kerry...I'm sure you can drum up more interest por la causa over there

if i think of any other blogs you can express your flaming ways on, I will let you know, but this town is not big enough for both of our 'stream of consciousness' rambling rants, isn't that right Itanja:)

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Emi, I’ll keep you in my prayers. I don’t even know what to tell you but if you are trying to be heard don’t you think that 50 + post are more than enough? (Please don’t answer that) I’m sure you’re message got across so just leave it as is. Sorry about your struggles. May there be light at the end of your tunnel.

Does anyone know how far away Ridgewood is from the city (NYC, that is)? I don't know if I will be able to make it to the NYC signing cuz I have a class at 7-- but I don't want to miss Dave!!!

Also, I have been so busy with school this semester I haven't been able to keep up with the board... if i remember correctly there was a link to sign up to be an agent, is it too late to join (or am I going crazy and there was never a sign up to begin with)?

To those going to the book signings/Camp Freddy, etc... let's agree on the code/symbol thing. The X in tape sounds ok with me, but some of you weren't into that. How about "6767" on the back of our hands in magic marker? Simple, yet not "fashionably obtrusive."

I like that not only will Dave be able to pick us out, but we'll be able to pick each other out as well. So, how many of us will be at the NJ signing? All coming, say, "I"...

"I".

Glad you guys like the calendar. And thanks Wendybird for the additional dates, and Jezebel for the VH1 link. Keep em' coming. I'm going to go and update it now.

Spreading the love,
Deena

First, thanks Dave. What a relief.

Second, Deena and the other tri-staters, I am 99% sure I'll be at the book signing on Monday. I'll have to race from work in central Suffolk, LI, to NYC, but for Dave, it's worth the trip! I think the 6767 on the hand is a GREAT idea. (You mean the palm of the hand, right? So that we can wave to each other?) Let's do it! (I just have to remember to grab a Sharpie before I run out of the office!)

Cheers,

Is it just me or does everything seem backwards today?
It's actually CLOUDY for once in LA.
I left early this morning but was still late for work.
One of my coworkers was fired today, and a new replacement was right there waiting.
Had a meeting with the bosses which is always a bit weird because they're all about reports and numbers.

well, at least it's Friday!

I can't imagine what kind of thing's people are saying about Scott (actually, ttb, I can...), though anyone shooting from the negative side can you're obviously missing in the fact that weiland is a part of the clique of rockers in L.A. who are either sober or trying to get there. His participation in CF is incredible to me. I've asked Dave several times through the years if he'd ever jam with Scott, and more recently (cuz of CF), and it finally came to be. I would love to hear some cuts of it, but either way i enjoy knowing some people got to witness two guy's on stage that may have been another person's dream to see (okay or maybe like 5 people on the stage at a time lol)...Navarro/Weiland collab could do nothing but rule the roost...

BTW- As a means of Identification, I vote for either getting a TPC logo tattoo, or maybe those less permanent can use a marker for that particular night...

Posted by: Adrock at October 1, 2004 09:19 PM

Idea's...Idea's...

1-Wearing the TPC logo on your visible body (be it tattoo or marker) as a mean's for familial identification.

2-A Chat Room : It's almost impossible to get a noticeable reply in, on most topic's. Dave will post, and then people will carry on their own personal conversations (within the just posted thread), and 2 hours after Dave Post's, there's already 60 comments, or whatever, making it nearly impossible for me (and others i'm sure), to read (or make...) some of the more interesting comments. Either that, or some method of exchanging AIM name's etc... so personal conversations, remain just that...

just some thoughts, not meant to offend anyone in particular (this was meant to offend everyone...jk)
...come on it was only a joke...for real...

Posted by: Adrock at October 1, 2004 09:41 PM

Thanks Dave. This was a nice surprise. Since no one can agree on what to do I will post this again to the LA Fam. If you want the mini buttons I can get them done and I'll deliver them in a central location. I'll make like a 100. I already made the logo in red (background) so it can stand out, unless you guys want something else. Shoot I can even get some X's done. Just a thought. Have a good weekend. ;D

Posted by: wendybird at October 1, 2004 09:58 PM

Hey wendybird,

You posted this info about the IP VIP package: "It's $800 dollars for a table of four and shit I forgot how much it was for a table of 8. But for the people that can afford it, it's tax deductible and remember it's for a good cause. So if you break it down it's only... drum roll here .....$200 a piece."

I have to wonder WHERE they are putting these tables? !!???? The mind boggles!! lol They certainly can't put them on the dance floor. Or are they?? Is the after party at the actual venue? OR is this VIP party being held at a nearby restaurant or club?

Irving Plaza, has one big dancefloor.....stage at one end, bar at the other. There is limited seating in the balcony area upstairs but I don't think there's enough room for lots of tables.

There are actually about four floors in the building; one floor houses the venue part, then there are steps leading to the balcony overlooking the dancefloor. Perhaps the party will be held on one of the other floors??

Thanks for posting the party info.

Hope to meet you at Irving Plaza,
itanja

Btw.....For anyone coming into NYC for the B&N book signing, there's a B&N street map locater at their website. It's a great help for people confused by the NYC subway system OR the confusing merged streets in the Village.

DAVE!!! don't mean to shout, but isn't there a way to do that, like we register as members, and quotes, and you can only post if you are registered, and there is modify and edit options....

Hi Steve,

"had to do it...enough is enough"

Dave meant that he had to delete the MANY loooong rambling posts of the extremely verbose 'emi', this weblogs answer to James Joyce. LOL

Actually most of emi's posts were incoherent. I think he was arguing with someone from the webog, so they might have made sense to someone. Frankly I didn't read them all. He did seem to be demanding money. lol

Hi Hector,

YIIKES....jezzi posted the NYC book signing location info here about 10 times~~!!

And I posted about the MAP at the Barnes & Noble website. It gives you the exact street the Greenwich Village B&N is located on. It's ON Astor Place between Lafayette & Broadway.

Hope that helps Hector, otherwise go to the Barnes & Noble website. It's ALL there.

take care,
itanja

Why is the feeling on the board a bit "I'm a better Dave fan than you" today? It's not a competition guys...

Just my opinion

Hope you're well. Seems like there are a new bunch of people here! We (the 6767 seniors...lol) are welcoming you! No competition of best fan here tho..! this isn't the place..lol

CfR is on tonite, so no need to tell u...6767MsN! the fin is back, aka Matt Sorum! Should be a good one tonite, might even hear ..ShooT...but might just be a rumor...lol

As skot was doing some sort of flashback last time with the timeline of the making of ShooT, I was thinking when I first posted an artwork for 6767...Long time ago it seems already...Glad to see what I started, and to see all those cool artworks everyday now...

Hi Fam,

Whew! Thanks Dave enough was definately enough! I was catching up with the board at 2:30 am this morning and thought I'd walked into a mine field.

Onto nicer subjects,
Congratulations, Freak, Kyle, Sarawasati, Chick bass player, Shoot is excellent!!! I'm loving it!!

Dave I caught a few mins of a programme where the lady who plays the mother in Malcolm in the middle (sorry can't remember her name at the moment) was talking about how she raises money for a few charity's the main one being for Autism.
The fund raising idea is called "Clothes off your back" where she auctions off the dresses of the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and such, I was wondering if Carmen ever donates to this as it seems such a worthwile and great way to raise cash.

I would love to attend the book signings but alas Holland is a bit far away, maybe you could do something special for those of us who can't be there, send and sign possibly not sure how that would work for you tho might be a bit hectic any ideas people?

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!!

Your an extremely talented guy.

At the moment i can't join in on any MSN chats because i upgraded and forgot my password and now i'm locked out, they won't answer my e-mails either.grrr

I would love to join in on these chats sometime,i'll have to get it sorted out.

Hey Dave. This may seem bizare, but last night I had a weird dream that you, Perk and Chaney were doing a gig in my home town (of Doncaster England!) and took it as a sign that the Panic Channel should play there! Jane's did on the Strays world tour. I know that Alice in Chains named an EP SAPP because of a dream Sean Kinney had. Basically just wondered what your view on this kind of thing is. Cheers! Simon.

Good morning everybody,
I somehow feel the need to apologize, that's what happens when you are paranoid...

Have I been coming off like I am a BETTER fan?

Am I one of the NEW people?

Are there rules for this site, see I told you I didn't know the secret handshake?

I didn't even know there was an MSN chat, is that just for veterans, or can new fans be invited too?

good morning princess!!!
If anyone ever has a problem with my incoherency, just slap me, ok? you got my addy...I would appreciate it, seriously, it's just when blanket statements are made, I get confused
I know you guys are longer fans than me

Make new friends
But keep the old
One is silver
The other is gold

Shout out to all of Dave's GOLD fans, from the lowly, yet sincere SILVER

Freak, this one's all for you.

How does the commemoration of an idea, and the subsequent making of ‘one’ song, (of hopefully many more), and encouragement for others to participate, all in one tidy little document for anyone’s (cyber)scrapbook, …and now your comment regarding the submission of artwork to 6767 become all about you? You have certainly misread the intent of my post. You are an obviously talented young man, but your self-importance dulls your brilliance. Blowing your own horn should be kept to your own blog or site or whatever you do in cyberspace, no? people here love your work and contributions, don’t spoil it by letting your ego get the better of you.

hi JEZZIE, howz the cheese fetish today ;)

Posted by: skot at October 2, 2004 09:26 AM

Steve...perfectly delighted you added me to your buddy list...two important pieces of info: I have cable internet so, I believe, it shows that I'm online all the time...even when I'm nowhere near the puter...also, Hubby does not IM so if you say "Hi" and get ignored take no offense....it's usually always him online during week days and me at night and weekends!

Peace to all...happy Saturday!

WHATS UP PEOPLE! HOWS THE FAMILY BEEN DOING??

Sorry I havent been able to get on in awhile I know all the sexy 6767 ladies must have been heartbroken. i was busy re-locating to Kingston, Ontario for persanal reasons...shitty thing was when I got her i went on a raging bender and lost the place i was supposed to be staying at. So i have been stuck in this shitty town for the past few weeks for no apparant reason and haven't been able to find a place with internet access on a regular basis but I should be moving back to Toronto in a week or 2.

So whats the new news on the Panic Channel? anything intersting happening with the Panic Agency lately. if anyone has any news of what i've missed the past month please e-mail me at OZZY1488@hotmail.com and bring me up to speed.

laters,

PS...to all the "old" family and "new" family...how about we put aside talk of who is the better fan and who did or didn't do this or that and just be one big happy, accepting family!

One can never have too many friends....this is a beautiful community, we all have something really important in common (Hi Dave!) so, lets just share the love and let the rest go, shall we!

Hey Dave,
Cool idea about the crosses on shirts. If i lived in NY i'd definatly be there with my cross gleeming.
Even though im not, i had this idea...why dont you dish out some panic channel stuff (posters, stickers etc) to people with crosses on, then they can spread the love of panic to the NY area...

Dave,
¿Would it be OK if you could also sign my copy of TRUST NO ONE on Monday? I know that you are only supposed to sign your book, but could you make an exception? I will be wearing a KORN shirt with "6767" taped across it at the signing.
¿Will you guys be having any special guests at the Irving Plaza show on the 21st? ¿Will Carmen be at either the signing or the show?

Thanks,

hi i'm new here so i dont mean anything by my ignorance when i ask this question...
what's with all this lyric submission and drum loop stuff?
people are collaborating right?
if there is any room for imput, please let me know. i have got plenty of short acoustic songs and mounds of lyrics and poetry if it is welcomed here.
i aint looking for any kind of recognition, but my ideas are within reach if anybody needs help.
aside from that... hello dave, i cant really say i'm a fan like most of the people in here... but if you can admire the worth of th eocean, without diving in... well i guess you can like the music without worship, know what i mean?
anyway everybody have a nice day
oh yeah hey dave, do you meditate?
if you do, would you be interested is establishing some peace on earth? let me know, im serious.take care

Skot,
what i think FreAk meant by his post is that he was remebering when he first posted artwork for this site. if im not mistaken he was the first to post artwork and he really got the ball rolling for others(including myself) to be more creative on the site. he was not blowing his own horn, just making a comment about when he first posted i think. i think you miss read the intent of his post

anyway, i hope to see you all later on MSN for CFR

stay well

Hey all!
Just wanted to hello... I have been lurking for a bit, and enjoy it here. I plan on staying if you'll have me :)

Dave-
Sure do wish you could make it up to Washington state for a book signing, but I now you are extremely busy and I respect that. Thankfully I work in a book store, so I get to get your book first thing in the morning :)
Thank you for creating this forum for your fans. We appreciate it.

Posted by: Karrie at October 2, 2004 12:10 PM

skot, this one's all for you.

I'll thanx Kyle first for his post, coz that's the answer to your post.

You misunderstood my post. I was just remebering the first time I posted some artwork, that's all! I'm so happy to see people artwork everyday now. It's such a cool vibe.

If you've been long enough here, you would know that it's far from being all about me, some regulars like Kyle, abb, colleen, bruce, Pony, sandy, and many others would tell you that I'd rather hide behind my work. And my ego is certainly not here, nor on my site...

But, hey skot, if this is the way you really see me, then it's fine by me, afterall it's your opinion, and I respect it. I think you misread my post, I'm just sorry you feel that way.

Oh well...

See you all on CFRmsN6767

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for emailing me, I'll write you later! Missed your posts here.

Hi Mike from NYC,

"¿Will you guys be having any special guests at the Irving Plaza show on the 21st? ¿"

I posted a few days ago that Fred Schneider from the B52s was announced as musical guest & of course The Roots were already announced.

Actress Kyra Sedgewick is the Host. I am assuming this is only for the Irving Plaza show, but don't quote me.

As far as who will be joining Camp Freddy, Dave would be the one to answer that question, I have feeling he's going to surprise us. Since he did post that he asks his friends to play & if they are available, they try to join CF for the gig. So we might have to wait until the week of the show. Actually, I'd like to be surprised!

Hope that helps~~!!

take care,

Hi All :)

After lurking around here for a while now with nothing really to say I figured since there are so many people asking about getting copies of the book signed I'd offer to help you out. :)

I plan on attending the signing in Ridgewood, NJ and I stopped by there today to find out if there's a limit on the amount of books I can get signed, and they told me that there isn't a limit just as long as I wasn't talking about 50 copies of the book for myself (which would just SCREAM e-bay).

So now I'm offering to pick up the book for any 6767er out there who unfortunately lives too far away from any of the signings to get a copy signed for themselves... Just feel free to send me an e-mail or IM me on AIM(wetodd3029) if you'd like to figure out how to do this.

I'm thinking that the easiest way (considering the signing is on Thursday) is for you to just paypal me the money, but of course that's open for dicussion.

I'm thinking as far as price it would be something like this: $29.95 for the book + $1.80 NJ sales tax + $3.85 for the priority mail flat rate (US Residents) which would bring the total to $35.60...I'm not looking to make a penny...i just want to help out some fellow fans...if the book ends up being cheaper i'll send you back your change :)

I don't know anything about international rates or currency conversion but I'm willing to help those of you oversees too! :)

Have a Great Day!
~Marg :)

P.S. Whoever was looking for a cheap hotel in NY I can help you out with some advice...

and Whoever was asking about the Scar Tissue signings, just google it, that's how I found out about this signing before it was posted here. :)

I've had such a problem downloading recently, I REALLY hope SHOOT gets airplay tonight.

In no way was my earlier comment addressed at any one person, I apologise, on reading it back it did seem slightly terse.

I'm right in assuming there's still an open door policy here, right? Which in my book means Old Major, not Napoleon!

Love you ALL

so looking forward to the signing...i'm just going to be wearing black (it's practically the only color i own) with a "hello my name is" 6767 tag lol...just to be noticed...i'm still confused though about the fact that the signing is on the 4th and the book is released on the 5th...will they have the book pre-released for us to buy it and get it signed...cause i don't want to show up for nothing lol.

can someone get back to me please?

and cori! your optimism totally rocks and so does your vibe

and jezzi! you def do not come off as "i'm a better dave fan" and you are not a newbie...you have posted here quite often and for quite a while. no worries dude!

K, in case anyone want's them I just ordered some red buttons. They said they would arrive in a week. I'll drop them off on a central location.

Have a good weekend everyone.
P.S. In case anyone is wondering, I'm not made of money but I sure like to spend it. :) And I’m a lush so I usually spend tons I don’t have when I go out or practically give it away when I gamble. So let’s not confuse this with a selfless act I’m doing this to save my liver :). They were fairly inexpensive so it’s not a big deal. Enough said. I’ll let you guys know when they arrive.
