Hey Dave
Firstly, I just wanted to say that I love all of the amazing body work you have had done. Secondly, I just wanted to know how Carmen feels about it? I mean, I know that she is your wife and she will be supportive of anything that you choose to do, but does she really like them and think that they make you more attractive, or does she "like them" because its a part of you and that's what she sees. Ya know what im saying? Does she encourage all the body painting?

Dave~You should do a show in London. I'm in Oslo but I'd surely go. I prolly shouldn't say that as I just quit my job and have no plans of getting a new one (=will be broke as hell soon) Ah well, I'll still go if you do a show there :)
Oh, and you look great in that pic, btw. You look so...happy :)
On to the questions posted by scotisheyes (cause you know I can't keep myself from answering :)
How far have you traveled to see a show? I went from Oslo to California to see Ozzfest in 2003. I went to Ozzfest in San Fransisco, San Diego and Sacramento, plus saw a Manson show in Las Vegas. I've also traveled from Oslo to different places in England and Scotland (or whatever country Glasgow is in :p) to go to festivals and shows.
What state are you from.? Umm, I'm from Oslo, Norway...
Do you like were you live? Yep, I absolutely love it, but it gets too cold during winter. In a perfect world I would live on the exact spot I do now during summer and go somewhere warmer during winter.
If you could move to another state were would you live? I'd move to Cali. Preferably Santa Barbra, but more likely LA. I like the small town feeling I get there. I also quite fancy Monaco, but don't think I'd ever live there. I'm so dull I'll probably just stay in Oslo forever. But I can live with that :)

I just hope that someone recorded that show last night! Hey Dave, have you ever thought of releasing CF stuff on a collection and all the proceeds go to M.A.P.? A video, cd, or merchandise or all 3? Just a suggestion.
Peace!

I've driven 300 miles to see a show! That was this summer to see Prince (I waited a lifetime to see him). I live in Chicago and I LOVE it. Every other city is nice to visit but this is home!!
I so look forward to visiting this site every day and seeing what everyone has to say and what Dave is up to!

I'm running on 5 hours sleep over the last 3 nights, so forgive me if my ramblings about the show last night come off as delirious.
I felt I passed all of the other 6767ers like ships in the night last night. I tried to make it to Lemon, but my friend got stuck in traffic on the Hutch, so we didn't even get on a train until 7. Sean gave me a call while I was waiting for the train to let me know that he had traversed to Irving because no one showed up at Lemon. Is that true? Where was everyone? I did, however, briefly meet a few of you after the show... after some back and forth on cells with Sean. I'm sorry I couldn't stay... but I had my 6'2 Ben Affleck-looking drunk friend about to start "making new friends" on the corner... he needed to get to the train, and to our couch to pass out.
Hello, people.... seems no one is mentioning the quality musicianship of The Roots... they totally blew me away... well, almost totally blew me away, because there was more to the show, obviously.
So here's where I will start to sound a little nutso to you guys. There was a reason I couldn't bring myself to go to the book signing, so I was lucky to have a boyfriend willing to go stand in line to get me the signed book. I did work late that night, but well, I have more control over my weeknight destiny than I previously indicated. I am about to admit something even more bizarre.
They announced Camp Freddy, and people started crunching a bit toward the stage. I stopped talking mid-conversation to a few people (didn't even excuse myself. rude bitch.), shuffled my way through the crowd (I'm fairly small, so crowds can be highly maneuverable), and found myself stopping short like a mime running into an imaginary wall. There he was, nipple rings and all, for real, standing there less than 15 feet in front of me. And for some reason, I became uncomfortable. I don't like feeling starstruck, and I believe this was the feeling washing over me. I bopped around awkwardly for a while, looking up every so often. Fred Schneider came out and swept up the stage with his charisma and his red ruffled shirt... what a doll! Him, I could box up and take home... I want my own Fred Schneider. Every time I feel down, I'd open the box, and he'd pop out and sing "There's a monster in my pants, and it does a little dance." Him, and anyone else on that stage last night, I could stand next to and be cool. But Dave, happplluh. Yeah, that's the word for it. As Fred left the stage, I left my spot a safe distance away from the icon I have idealized for years to retreat to an even safer spot... where I couldn't see him. I did, however, keep my glasses on (I'm nearsighted) so I could see the amazing lineup of special guests like friggin' Jerry Cantrell and Lou Reed. To be honest, I could have done without Gina Gershon, but to each his own, I guess. She's a damn smokin' woman, but that doesn't mean she can sing. (Let me throw in here that I adore Courtney Love and Brody Dalle.... so I can deal with unconventional chick singers... oh, let me not forget Patti Smith). Sorry, Gina... you ARE a killer actress.
Oh shute... it's noon and I haven't done a damn thing at work yet. Lack of sleep can really affect your functionality when you're verging on 31. I don't remember being this tired after late nights even last year!
Jez... you're the bezt. Keep writing your entertaining psychobabble, and I will keep telling you how truly awesome you are. :-)
Yours insanely,
Adina

Good Morning Dave and Family...Welcome Home Dave!!!
"How far have you traveled to see a show? (any show)"
Well...since we have only recently gotten a decent stadium built, I have had to travel to see almost every show...from Fresno to: LA, SF and various surrounding areas...and I once went on a Charity Cruise to see a show, which required me to fly from Fresno to Miami (yikes!) then cruise to Cozumel.
"What state are you from.?"
California
"Do you like were you live?"
Yes, because I was born and raised here and most of my dwindling little Family is here. Also, perfectly located between the mountains and the ocean so, easy travel to both, and not on a major fault line so, very little earthquake activity.
"If you could move to another state were would you live?"
Tough one...I've never really thought about leaving California...maybe Seattle, because it rains a lot there and only if my Family could all come with me...otherwise, no go.
Happy Friday all...enjoy the show you lucky LA peeps!
PS....HELLO LUIZ!!!!

Mornin' everyone,
I'm so aggravated, I lost the paper I had written down some 6767 people's e-mail addresses at the show! So Theresa, Kristen, Sue, Itanja, Ellen....if you're reading this, email me. Sorry.
Anyways, I'm still partially deaf from the show last night. Wow! Absolutely amazing! The Roots blew the roof off the place, their guitarist is absolutely phenomenal. They came back onstage later with Camp Freddy to do an impromptu, unrehearsed "Whole Lotta Love"! Speaking of which, Camp Freddy fucking rocked! They actually do justice to cover songs! And seeing Jerry Cantrell onstage to play "Man In The Box" was definetly a big highlight of the night. Lou Reed's performance was amazing as well. Gina Gershon, HOT! I thought she sang pretty well for that song ("Feel Like Makin Love"). Fred Schneider of the B-52's....okay, he was a little goofy coming on stage with that weird lil dance of his, but still put on a great performance. Billy Morrison was great, he's got that excellent british punk rock "fuck you" with a smile attitude, I loved it...didn't know he could sing either! Awesome stuff. Dave gave us 6767 people a few shout outs from the stage. Could the man rock any more?
As for Lemon, what happened? I got there at quarter to 6, and left at 6:35 when nobody had shown up! After the show I found out Itanja, Denise, Emily, Mike, and Ellen showed up at 6:45 or something. Oh well! Guess we'll have to organize this better next time. I was right at the front of the stage, a off to the right side of center stage. And there I met with Sue, Kristen, Theresa, and Rob! Very awesome and friendly people. Later on I found out Ellen and Emily were standing like two people away from me, haha! And I met up with Adina briefly after the show, she couldn't stick around unfortunately. The rest of us went around the side exit to meet Dave after the show. The guitarist from The Roots came out and shook my hand, Lou Reed was kinda rushed outta there, Jerry Cantrell was so fucking cool...he tried signing his autograph on my ticket but his pen ran out of ink, so I've got a barely visible 'J' on it! Heheh. Perk was so damn friendly! He actually came by the front before The Roots went on stage to say hi to us 6767 people! Very cool guy. Dave came out and thanked all of us for coming and waiting for him. He was wearing the coolest fucking fur coat (Dave, if your reading this, where did you get it?)
We managed to get a group 6767 photo with him! I think Theresa's boyfriend took it, so EMAIL ME! Dave took the time to pose for a few more quick photos, one with me as well (Kristen, Sue, email me! I lost your email addresses!). Like I said before, I felt kinda bad because he was in a hurry and everyone else was hounding him for autographs and photos. But he was still so damn friendly and cool, thanking us again for all coming out. I'm sure Theresa will tell you this, but he kissed her hand! They had the same tattoo on their hands. Very cool moment.
Afterwards, myself, Itanja, Ellen, and Denise went and had a late night snack across from Union Sqaure at a place called The Coffee Shop (que the Chilli Peppers song!) We were there for about two hours exchanging stories and experiences with the accompaniment of great food and coffee! I think it was 2am by the time we got out of there and headed our separate ways.
So that was the night! Surely one to get a place in memory lane for me. I had an excellent time at the show meeting all of you! If anyone took photos at the show (before, during, and after)...EMAIL THEM! I'm going to make a site for everyone to see the photos that 6767 people took from that night.
Now, I'm off to the gym! Finally, it's been a few months! Talk to all of you later!
Rock on,
- Sean

Hey everyone.
I haven't posted in a while,sorry.
The longest i travelled to a gig was over 200 miles to the Glastonbury Festival in '93 cause the Chili's were headlining and so was Porno 4 pyros,Rhcp cancelled and i couldn't see Pyros cause i had to come home for work the next day,but i did get to see The Velvet Underground and i'm very grateful 4 that once in a life time moment, the original line up too!!!
I wish festivals were like they were in the 60's when bands played until the sun came up.

Dave, Once Again thanks for being so kind and gracious and for taking the time out to sign my book last night. It was a wonderfull show and it turned into such a mystical moment when Lou Reed came on stage. The vibe just changed intensely when he came on and the sound of all those guitars together was such bliss for me. It proved that you can never really have too many guitars. And it was so amazingly beautiful to see the exchange that happened when you looked at him and he looked at you and we could See your moment of heaven in your eyes. It was trully beautiful to see that exchange. The beautiful reverent bliss that poured off the stage overflowing onto us will be remembered for a long long time to come. It was one of those magic moments where art becomes a mystical spiritual experience and I have to thank you and the other musicians for giving that to us. It was inspiring and wonderful. It's also so amazing and awesome to see such sharing of music between so many diverse musicians. The world definitely needs more of that kind of creative musical and otherwise artistic stew. We had such a great time and we certainly hope that Camp Freddy returns to NYC in the near future. thanks again for a great evening. -- A.

Reading people's reviews makes me green (or purple, depending on what angle you look at it :p) with envy. I wanna see a show too...Ah well, at least you guys had fun :)
Anyway, some random website is telling me that the distance between Oslo and San Diego is 5383 miles (while another claims it's 7674 miles, maybe they both are wrong, what do I know) so if I'm getting the jist of it, it looks like I'm the one that's traveled the furthest so far. Wohoo..?
Have a good one, everyone!

Hey Everyone!
I'm here at Itanja's (we had a post-concert sleepover), getting ready to hit the city for a girls' day of window-shopping and people-watching, and relishing in the memories of last night's show.
And what a show it was! It kicked off with the Roots, who were FANTASTIC... especially when they kicked it "old school" style. I was definitely feeling the funk.
As were... Camp Freddy. In a word, WOW. Not only did they rock the house; the environment was so f-ing laid-back and cool. I never dreamed I would get such a close spot and great view. It was like we were hanging out in a local bar, catching the resident cover band playing some of our favorite tunes... The only difference being that THIS band just happened to include rock & roll and Hollywood royalty... unquestionably some of the best musicians around today.
The guest stars were great... Lou, Jerry, Gina. Not to mention the fabulously wacky B52, Fred Schneider. To see him and Dave share the same stage was just too cool and surreal. Their version of "Planet Claire" ROCKED. I loved how Dave "sang" the female vocal part with this guitar. Awesome!
Then there was "Venus in Furs", "Jailbreak"... the list goes on. Unbelievable. Truly a killer show.
And yes, Dave looked fantastic. That goes w/o saying. :) I love the hair.
As the others said, we happened to catch the band on the way out. And yeah, we sort-of ambushed them. How can you blame us? LOL. It was great to see Dave twice in one month, see Perk as well, and express our appreciation. They were incredibly charming and gracious, given the crowded and hurried circumstances. And I LOVED the sparkling faux fur ... Dave, it's just so "you". :)
I was also nice to see Ellen and Mike/Luz again, and to meet a few more of you. (Hi Sean and Teresa!) I'm sorry I missed some of you at Lemon and at the show... but maybe next time. Hanging out in the Coffee Shop w/ Ellen, Itanja, and Sean was fun.
I will conclude by quoting Dave Chappelle as Rick James... "It's a celebration, b*tch!"!

Hey guys, did I just miss it, or was there no table at the show selling C.F. shirts & merchandise? I didn't see one and thought that was kind of odd.
Ok, so who's going to cough up a video of the show? ;) Seriously, I'm sure a copy is going to surface sooner or later, considering all the press that was there.

1)I think I've only driven about 50 or 60 miles at most to see a show
2)I live in Norman, Oklahoma(Home of the Sooners!)
3)I sort of like where I live, it beats Ohio(just moved a couple months ago)
4)I would definately move to LA. I tried already, but my dad wouldn't let me(thats why I'm in Oklahoma...I'm workin' my way out there!)

Hey Deena,
I didn't see any Camp Freddy shirts either, perhaps because it was a benefit, the guys weren't allowed to sell their items?
I was in the photo pit & YES there were at least 2 guys there in an 'official capacity' video taping the entire show, so who knows where that will surface, probably on 'Extra', 'AccessHollywood', MTV , Vh1etc.
Funny how they shoot the entire show, then only a small clip ends up on those TV gossip shows! Perhaps they were also shooting the gig for the band themselves. I also noticed Dave's travelling photographer (the dark haired guy from the book signings) was also on stage shooting from the side.
As for a fan shooting a video, we'll just have to wait & see who has that tape. lol
take care,
itanja

1) Drove from Charlotte, NC to Atlanta GA (3 hours) to see Rage Against the Machine's last tour. Drove back after the show and made it to work the next day. haha
2) Orginally from NJ
3) Currently living in NC, and it's not too bad.
4) Would love to live in Atlanta to get better shows.

To answer Mike's questions about concerts:
1) From Long Island to NYC (not that far)
2) Long Island, NY
3) Can't complain (except about the cost of living. LOL). We have easy access to the beach, quaint little towns, nature, great restaurants, shops, wineries, farm stands, and Manhattan. (That explains the high taxes, real estate prices, etc.) Lots of cool, open-minded people, etc.
4) Still on Long Island
(OK, now we're heading out! Catch ya later!)

Barb-b--Sorry to hear about your son, hope he is feeling better.
I believe that tatoo around Dave's neck you are speaking of is his wedding date in cursive Eleven-twenty two...Carmen has a matching one in roman numerals on her wrist.....Damm those crazy kids!!!!
Blanca-Can I just come over after work, call me, cause my phone was disconnected (AGAIN) and I lost all numbers.....I think I remember how to get there
Report cards are done, I know you are dying to hear details, but EVERYBODY passes in my class!!!! Do you blame me? I should offer them combat pay!!

Hi Fam,
Sorry I've been away for a while, I got a new job this week whoooo!!!Its been making my head spin (in a good way tho)
Sean cool post man I felt like I was there :)
Its gonna take me a while to get through all the posts of the last week, but from what I am reading sounds like an excellent night was had by all at CF. Can't wait for the footage:)
Nice pic Dave you look very content with life these days good to see:)
Now I'm waiting for The Panic Channel launch on Halloween & also the signed copy of my book as its gonna take a lifetime to get to me by the snail mail. I hope Book Soup didn't forget me I'll be mortified.
Are you on Camp Freddy this week Dave or is there a show the same night?
Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!
Spread your love,

Wow! so much cool stuff to read. before i do, i just got to say one thing.
Dave you are looking hot! :D
Posted by: ylais at October 22, 2004 01:09 PM
hey all! the show was great!!! i've never felt so connected to the band that was playing or so drawn in. I'm a little upset i didn't get to see everyone like sean (who i found out was like two spots from me lol), itanja, mike from nyc, denise, deena etc...but perhaps there will be another chance or maybe we can just all hang out in the city for no reason other than to see each other. there were three assholes who kept pushing/elbowing me and ellen and were just basically being really rude...but i elbowed one back lol...but it was soooo amazing to be that close...front row and everything on dave's side of the stage lol...i was one of the people who shouted 6767 at the top of my lungs with Ellen (hi Ellen!!)...i'm really sorry i didn't get to see dave again but my sister had to go to work early and i had to go back to school...i couldn't afford to miss any more classes...but hopefully they'll be more opportunities. all i can say is that the show rocked...fred schneider was awesome and a breeze of fresh air and lou reed was...unbelieveable...there really are no words to describe the venus in furs song live with lou reed (i really like dave's version a lil' better though lol)...all in all the show was AWESOME! i will definitely be going to another camp freddy show...but i'll be sure to bring my asshole repellent (aka a spiked leather cuff for beating them down lol)...good bye everyone...you know you guys are awesome
can you guys post a link to the pics you guys took...it would be nice to see them...i'd really appreciate it :-) thanks

Deena - you can order a CF shirt from the website. it was only $24 (for US only) and that included shipping and tax. but of course, they only have two sizes. Dave - where's the sexy baby tees??? and tank tops??? come on, i know you wanna see us in those!!!
eagerly anticipating tomorrow night!!! they say no cameras allowed at the wiltern... i am thinking of smuggeling mine in somehow. i don't know... it IS LA and they might strip search us!

Italy
--Do you like were you live?
i like most of it

Dave, the show was so incredable! You were awesome + I'm definatly a new Billy Morrison fan, he totally rocked, and the roots really kick ass!
Other 6767ers - sorry i didn't meet you all before hand, but there just wasn't time. i think i saw some of your after by the exit where Dave came out, but i wasn't sure if it was you so I didn't say anything. Was one of you a tall guy wearing a kinda brownish sort striped jacket?

Sounds like a great time had by all. It must have been amazing.
1)I often travel from Orlando to Tampa(2hrs), West Palm(5hrs), and Atlanta(7hrs) but one time I flew to Philly with some friends for a weekend festival. but I don't remember who was playing cause some girl kept giving me X the whole damn time.
2)Orlando Fl,
3)most of time it's great (except for huricanes)
4)I'd love to move back to Atlanta, or go to Colorodo, or mabey CA

Thanks to everyone's details from last night, next best thing to being there!!!
as far as the "survey"
1. NJ to San Fran to see the Black Crowes (and catch the jets/raiders game)
2. New Jerkey, I mean New Jersey
3. HATE IT!
4. I will be somewhere in southern California within the next 18 months.

It was great to meet some of you 6767er's last night! And Sean - to be fair, I have Dave's tattoo :) I'll have some pictures soon. The show was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. My brother and I were right in front and it was incredible. Camp Freddy is so f&$%ing fun! I hope they'll play more shows (hopefully on the East Coast) even when TPC is up and running. Dave, as always, thank you for being such a sweetheart. It means so much. And my brother finally got to meet you!
Here goes my survey:
How far have you traveled to see a show? (any show)
That would be from NY to San Francisco to see the Peppers (w/Dave) at the Tibetian Freedom Concert. I heard a rumour they were breaking up and could not fathom never being able to see them live again. To a lesser extent, I also drove 4 hours to see the Trust No One tour at the 930 Club in DC.
What state are you from.?
New York
Do you like were you live?
New York runs through my veins... it's a part of me. No matter what happens, I will be buried here. So I guess that's a morbid yes?
If you could move to another state where would you live?
I have thought seriously about moving to LA and more recently, San Francisco. Those are really the only US cities I think I would ever consider leaving NY for.
Catch you guys later :)

First of all (and I thought I was a wordy biatch), youze all are some excited verbose mot$#@f$%^ers! LMAO! I LOVE IT!
I'm feeling so much love from everyone that went to the show last night. Seriously, your happiness is shooting off the screen; and, I'm so happy for all of you that I'm not even jealous. (Although, I reserve the right to change that opinion ... tomorrow. LOL!)
Tangent: Completely bummed that I missed "Man in the Box" f!@king LOVE that song. One of these times that I crank it in my car, I swear I'm gonna get a ticket ... and I should cause it makes me ... exceed the speed limit ... but only thismuch.
Barb -- hope your son feels better
Jez -- I adore you and I love your wit.
Adina -- "there's a monster in my pants" I want to kiss you on the mouth.
Brett -- JERSEY! Dude, I've got some serious new-found love for you! 'ow you DO'n?
On to the questions:
How far have you traveled to see a show? (any show)
-- Drove from NJ to Lexington, KY (12 hours one way) to keep a promise (promised my son I'd take him to a concert he wanted to go to - Lex was the closest show available)
What state are you from.?
-- Jersey girl, born and raised.
Do you like were you live?
-- Nope, I love it. There's no place like Jersey
If you could move to another state were would you live?
-- May sound strange; but, Alabama. Visited a friend there over the summer; and, it's breathakingly beautiful.
I NEED A BIG HUGE FAVOR!
The law firm where I work has a big Halloween party every year. Part of this year's festivities is a Scavenger Hunt (with some seriously f#@ked in the head s!@t on the list ... but more on that later)
Anywhooo ... I need to know if maybe some of the fam can hook a girl up with:
* A NY subway token
* Pictures of out-of-state license plates
* Something post-marked from Beverly Hills, 90210
Oh, and if anyone, by any chance, has a Menudo poster from when Ricky Martin was in the group (and would be willing to let a really sweet, nice, loving, person from NJ borrow it for a few days) ... I'll be your new best friend.
If anyone can help me out so my team can kick the other teams' asses, 1) I love you; 2) I'd really really appreciate it; and, 3) email me.
Much love (and big wet sloppy tongue kisses),
~~ Lori

TWISTED ANGEL, I was the tall guy in the striped jacket, as you can now see by the above photo. :) Which one were you?
If anyone took any photos last night, send them to me, I'm gonna make a site with 6767 photos! :)
Goodnight all!

I did know about the tshirt ordering at the website, but I just thought it was odd that there weren't any being sold at the show. But thanks for the info anyway, Sno.
Lori, sorry I can't hook you up with any of those items, but it sounds like a really fun scavenger hunt!
I guess I'll jump on the survey bandwagon:
How far have you traveled to see a show? A couple of hours. North Jersey to Philly for Jane's 97, or to Wilks Barre PA for Guns and Roses in 1988 - not sure which was further.
What state are you from? "Jurzee" ;)
Do you like where you live? Generally, yes. 1/2 hour to NYC, 1/2 hour to the beach, 3 minutes to work. It's pretty convenient. I'd prefer to be a few miles away from here though. I'm by Newark airport, and there are some areas around here that aren't so great. Not to mention that all the planes get annoying.
If you could move to another state were would you live? California.
Spreading the love,
Deena

I'm the one with the "infamous" picture of 67ers with Dave outside the side entrance to Irving... I am Theresa's BROTHER...(please make note Sean)... I sent the pics over to my sister so I'm sure they'll be up soon... The show was amazing... every time I see Dave play I wind up playing the guitar so much more, I'm sure he inspires me as much as he does everyone else... Thank you CF for the amazing show and thanks to my sister for enabling me to meet one of my guitar idols. =}

going to keep up with the whole question answering thing...cause hey...surveys are ALWAYS fun lol
How far have you traveled to see a show? (any show)
-- hmmm...from eastern Long Island to the city...not that far
What state are you from.?
--New Yorker, born and raised from Queens to Long Island lol
Do you like were you live?
--NY all the way...NY-er til i die!
If you could move to another state were would you live?
--I would never live anywhere but NY...visit other places, but New York is where my heart and soul are.
and Lori...i do have a subway token...but it's REALLY old...i'd say 60 years old...i don't know if that's valid for your scavenger hunt...hit me back.

LORI--I think two of those things would be easier if obtained online, downloade pics of license plates or have son take a drive with you on the highway...as far as the 90210 postmark, email chamber of commerce or any business and ask for snail mail business info

jd — Yeah, yeah, yeah.... my little brother makes the same joke about it being unimaginable that he was ever shorter than I am. Coincidentally, his initials are JD. No matter how tall (somehow, he got to be 5'10"), he will forever be my "little brother."
Theresa — Here's to shorties!!! I'll drink to that. (If you didn't notice, I was wearing 5 inch platform boots the other night. 4'11", baby!)
Emily — DON'T GIVE AWAY YOUR VINTAGE TOKEN!! That's probably worth something.
Lori — I have several tokens that I can send you. E-mail me your address. Also, there are probably pics of license plates all over the web. Do a search on google, grab some photo paper at Staples, and print them out. The quality won't be so great, but it's just for the scavenger hunt. That's not cheating at all. :-)
Dave — Did you know that you are just a figment of my imagination? Anyway, imaginary guitarist, knock them on their behinds tonight!
I think I'm gonna start my own website and call it 1274. Okay, so that's not as numerologically cool as 6767, but I like my birthday, too, dammit. (I'm kiddang, all y'all.) But now you all know my birthday... you can throw me a party. Thanks in advance.

Jezebel..... Great minds thin alike, baby! I see you already gave Lori the same suggestion about downloading license plates. Get out of mah brain. :-)

OMG where do I start? I am writing a separate (probably much too long) review with details but just wanted to post a quick msg for Dave, Perk, Chris and the 67’ers there Thursday night in NYC…
#1-Thank you Dave, Perk, Chris Dono, Billy, Jerry, LOU REED and everyone for unbelievable music and so much fun! You rocked the house like no one else!!!
We (meaning me, Susan and my daughter, Kristen—Dave, you had 2 generations [ages 36 & 16] of Navarro fans there, we were the two 67’ers in front, the blonde in the black jacket w/the silver X, the purple/redhead w/the Alice in Chains hat and the NIN Jacket and 67’s on our hands) were first in line and first in the doors, went right up front and just stayed there. Met up w/Sean, and Theresa, and met Rob too. You guys were so nice and cool to hang with. Then, to start things off right, someone tapped me on the shoulder and pointed up in the balcony to show me that DAVE was waving down at us from the balcony! Nice! Not to be superficial but I have to mention how unbelievable he looked, like others have said after the book signing, he is even better looking in person, although I have no idea how that is possible. LOVE the longer hair, it’s your best and my favorite look--keep it! Perk came out and shook hands with us, which was great, he’s so nice. Then he stayed right in front of us to watch the Roots for a little bit while we tried not to keep looking at him so we didn’t scare him away. During the show there was a lot of interaction w/Dave and Billy, there is nothing like being able to make eye contact, up close and personal with someone you’ve followed forever. Oops this is turning into a review. So thanks one more time for letting us ambush you after the show, being so patient and gracious even though we know you wanted to go home. You signed Deconstruction for Kristen and we got a picture with you and your awesome furry jacket. I would have loved to get Perk to sign but didn’t want to make a complete fool/nuisance of myself so I just let him walk by. DAMN! Love you guys, you’re the BEST. 67’ers…see you the next time, hopefully for TPC shows soon!!!

Hi Everyone,
DOH. In my excitement yesterday, I misread the last of Mike's question. It was where would you WANT to live. I love NY and would stay here, but wouldn't mind being "bicoastal". LOL Or maybe I would stay in NY and have a vacation home in a nice part of Florida, or even on a Caribbean island. :)
