Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was ok. Dave you look Really HOT in the video. OH, and in my most recent Us weekely mag there is a pic of you having your eyeliner put on by someone else. Do you know how to put it on? Has Carmen given you any makeup tips? You looked hot in that pic too.

Take care everyone. One Love.

Hi Dave and all,

nice pics of the video shoot !

Well, i didn't get it but it's not that bad as i cannot go anyway (crying in Europe tomorrow night - think of me)....

Wish you Dave, Chris, Steve and Stephen all the best for tomorrow..maybe you can hear me scream from over the ocean...lol
And to the people going: Be the greatest audience ever!!!

oh yeah, one question Dave: Ever met James Hetfield (i assume so...) and what do you think of him? He's one of my all-time fave singers and a very very cool frontman!!!!! Has gone through a lot shit but still rocks.

lots of love,

To the above hipsters...
Yep. The website for the place I'm thinking of has a calender from August and nothing about black-jack! I'm a little hesitant coming from SD. But I know that club well. In fact I shared a pack smokes with Dave when HR from Bad Brains played there...That was a fun night.

But is this the right place? Anyone know?

Posted by: Steve-o at September 20, 2004 11:07 AM

Tina, Thanks for mentioning me in there, I'm honoured.
Big Hugs

You guys, the venue isn't going to outright say "The Panic Channel are playing tonight" or our dear Dave wouldn't be giving us clues.
Look it's a Dragonfly. I'd go if I were you. yes, their website only has August dates, yes it's karoake night apparently..but look at the Clues.

We should hook up for dinner.
I'll be online later tonight.. gotta get back to work.

Dry your eyes, there is a way to thank everyone whose answered your call,be happy and let yourself be loved.

You never know, you may be able to help one of us one day.

Dave,i'll not be able to attend tomorrow(what with being thousands of miles away an' all). However you guys ROCK that place to the foundations.I want to read reports of how people here still have ringing in they're ears the next day.

Posted by: Tex at September 20, 2004 12:00 PM

Good Monday Dave & Family,

For everyone going to the show - please have an incredible time. For those of us unable to attend the show because of living a substantial distance from the venue (East coast for me - little Rhody), we will be living vicariously through all of you. All of our detective work could rival Colombo!!

I must comment, and I hope you all don't think I am some sort of deviant, but today's picture/clue/artwork looks somewhat sexual in nature? Is it me, or does it look like a part of a female's genitalia? I am laughing as I write this because I am afraid you all will think I am a freak! Maybe I am a freak, or maybe after seeing all of those excellent video shoot photos of sexy Dave, I am all hot and bothered, I my mind has just fallen into the gutter?!?

Dave, did you purposefully want the "image" to conjure up such thoughts?

Thanks Dave!

Also sending my spirit over there.

hey tex, whats shakin'

re: my use of the word 'jealous'
i live in the 'sticks' now and have not seen a concert since 1998. (WTF!?) its true i tell you...

my very last live thrill was seeing:
John Zorn, Mike Patton, and Iku Mori doing their thing at the "International Festival Musique Actuelle" in Victoriaville, Quebec.
.....and they were a sight and sounds to behold!

MP is such a laugh live, holding the mic up to his mouth, covered by his hand, so you can only see his eyes looking around the room while he wails like a banshee!
he is a sight to behold! a genius!
JZ and IM- same thing, minus the mic, ......brilliant!

i must get out more
down to vancouver er somthing
so 'jealous' is my word for the day kiddies

hi ylais!

hi jezzi! (how's that cheese infatuation going today?) I too enjoy the moon!

dear Cori - hope you did well during your mum day the other day.

Dragonfly...
You don't sound like a dragonfly
uh, what..
nevermind, anyway, what time do your doors open tomorrow night?
uh...I don't know, nine or something
really, nine, is that how late you guys usually open?
uh...I don't know, usually for tuesdays
Well, is there a cover charge?
uh...I don't know, maybe, can you call back tomorrow.
Ok, I understand, you probably have had a lot of phone calls...it's so hard to deal with rabid fans
uh...HUH?
nevermind, listen, do you know of any place nearby where one could hang out while waiting for Nine or whenever,
uh...not in THIS area

I am UNDAUNTED in my quest to see TPC tomorrow, got my nails and my hair did, got my red shoes...to match the hair, looking forward to meeting my fellow Counteragents, Jezzi and the PaniCats I am going to call us, you heard it first, email me, we'll have dinner and a stakeout!

Thank you Lisa,

I didn't want to seem gross - but I just had to ask. Thanks for alleviating my fears. Well, I know that I may be a freak, but at least I'm not crazy?

Hey Dave,

Would you consider a "secret show" in the Providence area?

Jilla

Posted by: Jilla at September 20, 2004 01:29 PM

Jilla, don't worry... I thought the SAME thing about the image. I would be shocked if it WASN'T at least somewhat intentional. Or maybe we're both crazy. LOL

Dave,
Just wondering what your thoughts were on the terrible tragedy at the Station night club in Rhode Island. Unfortunately many survivors are still in severe debt with the nightclub fund diminishing quickly. Would you or TPC be up for playing in a charity concert for survivors if you were to come to the Northeast?

Posted by: kevin at September 20, 2004 01:53 PM

dave, as a music fan are there any records or cd's that you are still unable to find (as they are discontinued, limited edition or whatever) or are you so famous that you can have any album in the world at the snap of your fingers.

(and if so can you get me a copy of giant robot ntt by buckethead ;) im joking of course)

Kevin, that is a great suggestion! Dave, it would be wonderful if TPC could plan a "secret benefit" and put some of the agents in the northeast to work. I am sure we would all be up for the charitable task!

Hey Dave. Do you listen to any all instrumental bands, and if so, who? I play in BRASS KNUCKLE SURFER out of Atlanta, Ga. Bass, drums, guitar, violin. I really loved the instrumental on Deconstruction. My guitar player has a very similiar tone to yours, with lots of spacey effects. You might enjoy it. Hey Dave and company,

This is my first post so I'd just like to say that it's a pleasure to be able to contact you. Dave, you are one of my biggest influences when it comes to music, and if you're at all curious about my band, go ahead and check us out at http://www.purevolume.com/calibur .

Also, I was wondering, since you've spent a lifetime within the music world, what do you enjoy most about it, and what do you enjoy the least? Also, what's Scott Weiland like in person?

-Gannon

Posted by: Dave Gannon at September 20, 2004 06:53 PM

Dave,
Just wanted to wish you and the band Godspeed at the first PC show. God, wish I could be there. Hopefully, yall will come back to ATL where I was lucky enough to meet and hang out with you. You are such a gracious, down-to-earth, unpretentious, and extremely talented person. Meeting you was a def inspiration. I really wish you and Carmen much continued love, happiness, and success. You exhibit the qualities that all successful musicians should adhere to, but sometimes their egos won't let them. The spirituality you've obviously embraced and project is contagious-not to mention being such a positive (for lack of a more accurate term) role model with your recovery. Hope to see you again soon.
Mucho Peace, Love, and Happiness and God Bless!

Hi Dave, I know you're a big fan of wah pedals. I am too! Have you ever tried one of the Geoffrey Teese wahs? If not, you definitely need to check them out. He makes one called the RMC3 and you can adjust it on the inside to sound any way you want it to. Plus, it's true bypass. I'm sure you're crybaby is modded for true bypass though. Anyway, check them out if you haven't already at RealMcCoyCustom.com

Hey Fam!

Well its been a while since I posted as I have been in the Uk visiting my Kin.
While I was there I went to watch Rush live in Manchester, what a night!!! those guys still rock the house after 30 years!! Neil Pearts drum solo was just awesome he hardly breaks a sweat.
Dave are you a Rush fan at all?

My next gig is going to be The Dead Kennedys another all time fave that I have been longing to see since I was a kid, any thoughts on The Kennedys Dave?

I'm trying to catch up with whats been going on, looks like you all have been very busy.

For those of you lucky peeps that are going to the show have a great night, please don't forget piccies for those of us who can't be there.

Spread The Love!

Ok...so as far as the show goes...some of us are meeting ahead of time at a nearby starbucks so that us girls don't have to show up at that ghetto-ass place alone (lol). If you are interested in meeting us there just email me and I will tell you where it is...gotta email before 4pm to be sure I get it in time.

Hey there you lucky people in LA. Have a great time tonite and give us a full report tomorrow.

Dave, please give us some clips or something in the download section until we get our turn?

Have you guys given any thought to a London gig (to be combined with Christmas shopping)... of course if you all fancy playing in Nottingham instead we could easily arrange that!
