Monday: Back To Work
Well, that was a great day! It looks as if we are planning a show in mid September. We will have a mailing list soon to notify everyone when and where. I might be able to upload some clips from rehearsal this week. Just little moments and whatnot. We are also getting ready to start up a street team in the near future, I would love it if some of you could grant us some time to help out. Oh yeah, the Indie petition is killer, I signed it myself. I will speak to the program director myself next Saturday about archiving the show. What a great idea. Also, I checked out Sophia's dream site. Trippy. Sandy, my heart goes out to you. You know I have been there. Thank you to Stephanie for the great logo work. I'll be sure to use them soon. I am getting so much cool stuff from all you creative geniuses. That should be a new page. All the art that has been sent in. I'll get on it. I finally added Pony's link. Sorry for the delay.
1. A friend of mine told me that you were either learning how or had learned how to project yourself or an image of yourself and visit people in their dreams. Is there any truth to this?
God, I would come across as so deep and interesting if I said yes, but no, I have never tried nor will I attempt to do such a thing. Dreams are sacred. I would never want to interfere.
Goodnight friends,
Dave

Hi Dave
Hope rehearsals are going well, can't wait to hear what youguys come up with. Checked out Steve Isaacs site today, it's intresting to hear about the process of songwriting from two perspectives. He seems to have some really cool lyric ideas. Is he writing all the lyrics or are you all contributing?
Archiving the CFR shows would be great as I don't get to listen live (I don't have access to the net at home as I just moved house and haven't got round to it yet)
When TPC is sorted how about getting your asses over the UK as we'd all love to see you!!
Peace and love to the 6767 clan

I would love to help out with the street team. I live in the San Francisco bay area and have worked for a few Sacramento radio stations in the past doing promotions. Let me know when, where, and how I can help.
If you ever wanted to try camping I can name a few awsome places out there to go. If you need som gear for this outing I would try REI out there. They have the best service.
Thank You again for this killer site. I love your humble down to earth out look on life.

Uh.. weird to be here. It sure takes me back.
Dave,
I've got to tell you how strange (deja vu), but expected, to find you still speaking with such great compassion and care with your followers or whatever you would call them. (the vibe here IS much more positive)
I had to say hello.

Hey Dave,
I'm a couple classes away from finishing college, love your music, playing guitar, etc. Do you need any extra people/volunteers as you get the new band goin, besides street team members? I'd be so down to do it and could use any experience to add to the resume.
If you get a chance:
What's a bigger rush, playing a killer show or writing a killer song during a jam session?

Dave, can't wait for the Sept. show! I know it will be awesome.
I just want to "re-hash" Sandy's question from the other day...do you have a phobia...or any major fear...we want to know your weakness...lol. Have a fantastic day Dave and everybody!

Hi Dave,
Street team UK...and I'm there!
Glad to hear everything's moving on.
Definately up on the CFR archive thang.
One question:
Does your musical experience make you more selective, or more embracing about the music you choose to listen to?
Peace and Love

Hi All,
Thanks Rob for getting the petition going I have been staying up till 5am here in Holland listening to the show as it starts at 3am so as you can imagine Sunday can be a bit of a non event as I am too tired to do anything (but it has been worth it!) :-)
Sandy I'm sending you a Hug.
Dave, thanks for answering regarding the lyrics, I now understand what you mean, although the song brought up some dark times for me upon first hearing it, it now remains to be one of my favourites off the album as its kind of helped with the healing of an old wound.
Love the crop circle picture, they are fascinating ey, I have seen a few in the Uk they are so intricately designed that you just wonder how do they appear overnight, there are a lot of theories on them, the main being that they are done by hoaxers, personally I think there is a bit more to it than that, maybe someone out there is trying to tell us something.
Any theories yourself on that Dave? People?
Have a fabulous day everyone!

Hey Dave and everyone,
Just checked in to see that everything's just as great as it always is in here. Good to hear you're back to rehearsing on a daily basis.
Velvet Revolver is playing here in Helsinki, Finland tonight only a few hours!) and I'm having trouble channeling my panic (excitement and anticipation). I've never seen a show of anyone of them but have been a fan for years so it should be fantastic.
Then a question. What's your favorite VU w/ Nico song and what makes it special?
Hope you all CFR listeners don't mind us Europeans "lending" Matt for the time being (VR Europe tour).
Peace :)

Dave, count me in for Philly. I would love to help you out. Whatever you need.

Hi Dave,
How are you babe? This is probably a strange one to ask, but I work for Clapton and just wondered what you thought of him as a musician/guitarist. Very different styles, I know, but am curious to know your opinion. PS Any plans to come to good old blighty in the near future? Mxox

hey everybody
somebody the other day was mentioning the film fareneit 9/11. i haven't seen it, but if you like that i highly recommend a book called "the best democracy money can buy" by greg palast. it's extremely interesting/disturbing and i think the source for a bit of micheal moore's material.
it's damn disturbing what is happening in the world..
anyways hope everybody is well!
