Hey guys, I didn´t have a chance to participate but I read the transcript. I just wish more questions about the new band were asked. How is the relationship with Ysaac? Does it (new band) compare to any other band that you (dave) were in? Are you experimenting with new sounds? Are there any lyrics? also..What did you think about the 6767.com in the past? and finally.. Do you still have that Venus in Furs video, that was one of the most artistic videos I´ve ever seen, truelly amazing!!1

Dave, im a new guitar player, ive played an acoustic guitar for a while now, and im starting to look for an electric. i dunno alot, and youre one of my fav guitarists, so i though i would ask you. what would you suggest as a beginner guitar? what kind of petal setup, if any, should i get, and how much are the petals anyway? i dont have a lot of money lol, so for a budget of about $500, $700 tops, what should i be looking for? what points make a guitar great or a piece of shit? take away your (probably) massive bank account, what kind of guitar would you buy?

Any recommendations for drum sounds to use on demos? Also, have you ever checked out Cornford amps? they're British and supposed to be great.

Missed the chat too for being a computer dumbass and not knowing how to work the damn thing! lol...i'll know for next time...dave you are so totally cool...the fact that just thinking about you/your music can brighten a bad day just goes to show you how awesome you are! is there an e-mail address or something where we can contact you...so far the website is a great way considering you do answer a lot of questions. I like Les Pauls. They can be expensive but you can probably get an Epiphone model (Gibsons enrty level guitar) for under $500. A distortion box is a must have for sustain during your rippin solos. A chorus for a wet "dreamy "sound. Oh ya a wah wah pedal. you'll love that. Where are you located?

I didn't get in last night until you were gone, but I did get the full transcript and had a couple things to say.
My son is 13 and loves guitar (as does my husband) and he looks up to people like you very much, so it warmed my heart when you said
"i have way more fun doing music clean way more"
That one little statement means a lot.
I also thought it was strange that people didn't want you to talk about Carmen much, she's your wife! Just wanted you both to know that there are many, many fans who love both of you, and love to see you together. I can't wait to get "Till Death" on DVD, I hope there will be extra's :o)

So I don't know if I'll make it in to the next chat, or have the same problem, but these are things I wanted you to know...

Dave, i would like to hear you do something heavy or dark. i would like to hear you do a track with Henry Rollins, or Ozzy. something almost Evil sounding if you know what i mean. not manson or nin since that would be predictable for me, but something Dark. is there an evil sounding singer out there, that would be good? i don't know, but i think you should do some side project that is soooooooo dark!

I just read the chat transcript and while it made me even more crabby at my dial-up for getting me kicked off and missing out - I was really interested to read that you would love for Chris Cornell to sing with Camp Freddy.
Please, can I say you must MUST try and make that happen. His voice and your guitar -- that would be mindblowing.
